They are completely functional and very solid. There are some areas on the threads that have some ships out of them. But none big enough to cause any issues. The color on them is inconsistent, or stained in some areas, but still look great on display. Probably could use some oil to even that out. up to you. The ends of all 4 blocks are stamped"809" and 2 of them are embossed"R. Bliss Mfg Co. Pawtucket R.I. There are a couple small chips on the edges. But no serious issues. Really Nice vintage tools for Display. Size: The blocks are 14 inches by 2 by 2. Each of the handles are 16 inches long including the threads. History: R. Bliss Mfg Co. In 1874. The only tools with issues are the stair gauges have some corrosion and staining on the brass from poor storage. The picture clamps are in great barely used shape. With instructions. The hammers are in very nice used condition with no evidence of heavy wear or abuse. The rasp plane is fine and unused. The vise is fine. If it was used it was used once or twice. Aluminum, steel and hard plastic construction; they weigh about 1 lb. 10 oz. together. These tools have no damage and little wear; they assemble easily and work well. Kit originally had a selection of wood dowels and depth stop collars; these are not included here but can be purchased at Sears and hardware or home improvement stores. Buyer to pay shipping.
