Pioneer PL 570 Restore Service Veneer New Cover Turntable Timing Motor repair
PIONEER 570 RESTORATION SERVICE. This is a service. So you will need to send your turntable to me. To restore- 1. Veneer- $125.00 I usually have Walnut. Mahogany and a few more exotic woods like African Anigre, Rosewood etc. Includes a glossy varnish or a natural Oil finish. Nice sharp edges. No against the grain chipping. 2. New Dust Cover. $125.00 Taller than the original 1/8" Thick. Looks awesome. Will custom fit the cover to the veneered base. 3. Repair your damaged timing motor gear. Most used 570's have a common failure mode with the arm movement. Fixing it is usually no problem. But it does take around 1.5 hours. Sometimes less. If someone has attempted to repair the gear. Or if a tooth is missing- I can't fix it. But I will be able to come up with something that will work. But it may be more time/ money. Perform all needed ... moreadjustments. Add new Silicone to the arm Dampener/Raiser. Light lubrication with silicone. Free seized up arm movement cam. This also includes cleaning and polishing parts. 4. I can wet sand(polish) and buff(with a 1800 Rpm Buffer) your original cover- $100.00. That's if it has no cracks, Burns. Defects or deep scratches. This is very time consuming. To do it right. You can use Novus which will actually only polish the scratches. And it will look better in that way. Extra charges: Control board: Many times the graphics stop/start etc. are bad. I can silkscreen these. At a extra cost. Once they are silk screened. I shoot both anodized aluminum plates with clear acrylic. The silkscreen ink is water based. So it's a must do. And they look excellent. Other extra costs: Output cables. Capacit ors New Headshell wires. Custom made feet etc. These are pretty basic so I can usually get the unit finished in 1 to 2 months. Beautiful Sounding(and Looking) Now discontinued Ludwig USA Classic birch in a white wash veneer ply finish. This set is in very good conidtion. Bearing edges are great. I have used brasso and other cleaner on all of the rims. Except the 10" tom, but I will clean it with brasso before shipping. Sizes are 20"x14" kick. 10"x8" tom, 12"x9" tom, 14"x14" floor tom. Perfect for jazz, or rock. All tom heads have newer Remo clear ambassador heads. Kick drum has a Remo powerstroke 3 clear drum head. That is only a few months old. I am including ACES brand pro soft cases for all of the drums. PLEASE NOTE: the case for the bass drum is a 22"x18" size. But we believe it to be American, c. 1880-90. The box is made of wood covered with a dark wood veneer and decorated with brass or bronze fittings in classical geometric motifs. The center of the lid has a bronze boss featuring a woman wearing a helmet. Perhaps Athena. Included is a pair of cream colored women's gloves decorated with eyelets and pearls. In great condition. The body of the box itself shows some wear from its long life. The dark wood veneer has cracked in some places. And a chip is missing on the lid. There are a few tacks missing from the bronze fittings. The silk lining has largely disintegrated, so the box is ready to be relined, which could be a fun project! ... moreThe lock is missing a key. Excellent condition Ludwig classic birch 22"x16" bass/kick drum in White wash veneer finish. As stated above. The flaws are: Slight tom rash on left hand side top from drummers perspective. Indention in the batter side bass drum hoop where the pedal connects. Also missing rubber foot on left side. Bearing edges are still minty fresh. And this drum sounds truly amazing. It records better than some of my more expensive drums. With better projection, clarity and punch. If you are looking for a full classic birch kit to match this drum. Look at my other auctions. Antique Vintage REUGE PIANO MUSIC BOX Blue Danube Waltz Olive Wood Veneer
This lovely little piano music box seems to be quite old! It has a Swiss Reuge movement. And it plays the Blue Danube Waltz- it does play a little slowly, but when used regularly, it may pick up speed again. The box is quite nice. It probably has an olive wood veneer. Especially distinct on the underside of the lid. There is a pair of dancing, gypsy-like figures on the top of the lid, along with the words, Rodo de Mallorca. As you can see in the photos. There are a couple small flaws in the veneer, but I think they just add character. The piano is a little over 7" long. Is 5 1/2" wide, and is about 4 1/4" tall. Vintage Art Deco Drawer Pull with Original Matched Veneer Drawer Front Panel
This is a Vintage Art Deco Drawer Pull with Original Matched Veneer Drawer Front Panel. Both the pull and drawer panel appear to be of the period. And my assumption is that the pull is original to the drawer from which the front panel came. The metal portion of the pull is 6 3/4" in maximum overall length. And the maximum height, represented by the orange plastic oval, is 2" I do not know if the plastic is bakelite or not but I did not get a positive result from the smell test for bakelite. The mounting holes for the pull are on 4 1/4" centers. The front of the panel is 10" x 7" The profile of the back can be seen on the photo of the back. The front of the panel has a nice Art Deco. Dark blond veneer, over plywood with a maximum overall thickness of 11/16" 3/16" on the left and right edges) The veneer was ... morecut and a plied in a manner that produces a symmetry for the left and right. However, the line of symmetry is offset a bit to the left of the centerline of the panel. On one of the photos, I marked the approximate point on the top and bottom edge where the seam of the two pieces of matched veneer meet. You can seen that it is offset to the left from the centerline of the panel as it is seen. As shown, there is 4 1/2" to the left and 5 1/2" to the right. Please note however, that I did not realize that I took the photos of the panel upside down with respect to the routed groove for the drawer bottom panel, so the measurements I just stated should actually be reversed if the panel is oriented right side up(i.e. the large part of veneer would actually be on the left instead of on the right) We also have a variety of antique and vintage hardware listings in our ebay store. Up for auction is a vintage Van Cort kaleidoscope. It has brass ends and is wrapped in a wood veneer. I believe the body is pvc. The brass is scuffed and there is some bubbling in the veneer(see pictures) but this is still a neat looking instrument. This is pretty heavy. About 1¼ lbs. and is about 9½" long. Furniture label underneath is from 1932, sold later than made, hence my listing it as 20th century antique, hard to tell for sure. Beautiful walnut veneer. Stunning colours. It is for the most part unrestored. There is gluing(not great) of the inner cover plate in the centre(see picture) The condition is generally lovely. The look is stunning, the lines beautiful and of course it has a function. Beautiful piece measuring at very roughly 30" tall, to is roughly 22/24" wide. The lever hinge inside works fine as you can see. It definitely is a pre-restoration ... moreitem, once done, will look even better. It's stunning as it is, lovely lines and curves. Used. Could do with some work as you can see natural age splits in the wood base below the surface at the sides, quite a few large and small, frame surrounding the mirror also(couple of tacks missing there, but it's solid) The latch needs work as it's obviously been taken off at some point and put back a bit off kilter so the top sits slightly above. There is a lift to the veneer on the surface as shown, needs to be sorted quickly. Ancient long since dead and treated small are of woodworm at underneath base as shown, absolutely gone and darkened. This will sit nicely as it is. It's a beautiful item that I bought for myself, but am changing the look of the area, so it doesn't quite fit in. Great antique piece for anyone. Absolutely stunning immaculate dry erase board. This came out of a huge board room and was rarely used so there are no marks. Scuffs, discolorations on the beautiful shiny dry erase board. The casing is perfect on the three visible sides, the top of the cabinet does have very minor marking from hanging though the company paid someone come and restain the couple of scratches. The cabinet can be turned over also so if you wanted to hang it low you could put that side down. There is also a tiny chip on the very top of the door which is not visible when hung and has also been restained. There are NO scratches or marks on the beautiful doors inside or out so it looks virtually new! The piece is 48" wide, 50" tall and 6 1/2" deep! Antique Vintage Swiss LADOR MUSIC BOX Marquetry Inlaid Birdseye Veneer
This music box is very old and a little worse for wear. But I am confident that with some TLC, it will regain much of its former beauty! The veneer is a little worn and chipped in a couple places. There is one foot missing, and another has been replaced with a screw. The interior smells of perfume, and the silk lining probably ought to be replaced. The Lador movement initially did not play at all, but I have gotten it to play some of the time(I don't recognize the tune) If it's played more, it should continue to loosen up and play more consistently. The screws to hold the movement in place are missing, so it's only held down by the winding key. I think that about sums it up.let me know if you have any questions. Bob Frey - 4 Point 5 Veneer Pool Cue
Hello all, Up for auction is a late 70's 4 Point 5 Veneer Bob Frey Pool Cue. I spoke to Bob and he confirmed that this cue could have been made at some point in or after 1978. I have sent him a few pictures to see if he remembered the cue but I haven't heard back. Please read the individual descriptions carefully as I try to disclose everything possible and feel free to ask any questions you may have. This Bob Frey cue was purchased 2 years ago at the Valley Forge cue show from a very reputable cue dealer and has been in storage since. The cue was refinished prior to purchase but I do not know who did the refinish. I was told who might have done it but since I cannot confirm it I will not start a rumor. Overall the finish is in excellent condition with a few important things to note: There are spaces at the crotch of the points where ... moreit appears that the stain did not take so there is a mismatch in color. This is shown in one of the pictures with red circles around it. There is a blemish under the finish on the butt sleeve. This blemish is in the wood under the finish and it cannot be felt. This is also pictured in one of the photos. Butt: The butt of the cue is made up of a stained maple forearm with Cocobolo points and a Cocobolo butt sleeve. The points have the following 5 veneers from the point out: Natural. Natural, Blue, Blue, Black. I did my best to show the veneers in the provided pictures. The wrap is black with white speck and the butt cap is Delrin. The rest of the butt specifications are: Weight- 14.7 oz Length- 29" Joint- 5/16-14 Piloted Stainless Straightness- The butt of the cue is very straight. I would give it a 9+/10. Shaft 1: The first shaft is original to the cue. Weight- 3.6 oz Length- 29" Diameter at tip end of the ferrule- 12.3 mm Straightness- This shaft has a noticeable taper wobble but nothing leaves the table. I would say it is an 8/10 and very playable. Shaft 2: This shaft is not original to the cue but is perfectly matched. I am not 100% positive who made this shaft.

Antique Victorian Round Wooden Footstool with Beaded Needlepoint This is an antique footstool with beaded needlepoint on the cushion. It is in good usable condition. Some of the beads are missing in the needlepoint. And there are cracks in the veneer that vovers the wood on the base. The footstool has an 11" diameter and is about 6" high. It is designed with a wooden screw in the middle of the cushion that is secured from the underside of the wooden base. It is very easy to remove the cushion from the base.
