Up for bid is a reproduction of one of Louis Tiffany's pieces. This one is called"Wisteria(detail) It is in excellent condition. I am guessing that it was either made by the glassmasters or Toronto Glass company. The piece is framed in a light colored wood. It measures approximately 15 1/2" x 7 1/4" There is a metal plaque with the engraving"Wisteria(Detail) Tiffany Studios 1908-10" attached to the wooden frame. The date refers to when the original piece was created. The piece of glass is fired at a high temperature to fuse the colors so that they will never fade or discolor. Up for bid is a Glassmasters reproduction of one of Frank Lloyd Wright's pieces. This one is called"Bradley Skylight" It measures approximately 7" x 13" It is framed in lead. The glass portion is in excellent condition. The lead frame has some very minor scratches. 8035 Bradley Skylight Wright's interest in Native American artifacts became apparent later in his life. Though we have no documentation to explain his choice of the Indian motif on this panel. His vision and interest in such design foresaw avid interest in this art today. This panel was installed in the dining room ceiling of the B H. Bradley House in Kankakee, Illinois in 1900. Gorgeous antique belt in excellent condition. I bought this at an antique and vintage jewellery emporium for a scary amount. As I haven't worn it for ages because it doesn't fit me now. Here it is. Beautiful detailing of dragonflies on foliage. From the art nouveau period. I don't know if it predates or postdates 1900. EPNS- silver plated. It has the EPNS marks on the back in a separate square for each of the letters. To the left of the EPNS is a cross shape in a diamond shaped stamp. Each arm of the cross goes into a corner of the diamond. To the right of the EPNS is a flower shape in a shield shaped stamp. Dragonfly detailing on each of the panels apart from the oval shaped ones which have floral and foliage designs only. The two oval shaped panels have only EPNS on the back of them. A maiden and her lover, is he proposing? surrounded by lush flowers as seen through an'open window' with curtain swags on top. The faces and feet are stitched in petit point. This is a set of two vintage Heisey glass plates. One has narrow panels with a starburst in the center and measures 5 1/2" The other has a raised scalloped edge with a starburst in the center and measures 6" These can be used for bread and/or butter; lemon slices and more. HEISEY GLASS BASKET Recessed Panel/Etched Floral Vine
This beautiful Heisey glass basket stands 11" tall. The base bottom measures 4 5/8" by 2 5/8" in size. The pattern is 5/8" recessed panels. And the upper edge is decorated with etched floral and vine pattern. There is a hard water line inside the basket, and some flea-bite size nicks in the top of the handle that can be felt with a fingernail. Where the handle is attached, there is a tiny chip at the bottom edge of the handle, and where the five ridges come together at the handle bases is rough on both sides.
