VINTAGE FLUSH MOUNT 3 LIGHT BRASS CHANDELIER HUBBELL I have for auction a vintage flush mount brass chandelier. The light measures 12 inches across and 20 inches down form the ceiling. It is in good vintage condition with a few minor scratches to the finish. The sockets are a C.E. MFG. Co. 60 W. 250 V. The shade holders are the 2 part Hubbell shade rings patented JULY 23-03. FEB 23-04. The paddle sockets work well and the light has been rewired. The shades are in fair condition with some minor chipping on the bottom rims. There are some large bubbles in the glass of the shades. Vintage Hubbell toggle switch. Side of brass is marked: 8A 250V 5A 125V Hubbell" also on the other side" und. lab. insp. Underside is marked"Made in U.S.A. but I can't make out the rest. I have 2 in the same very good condition but listing and price is for one. I don't really know how these old switches work but it appears to all be there. Interior has a discolored sort of rust spot where the wires come in. But it's on both so I think it was made that way. The little cutouts where the wires come through the porcelain sides have some small chips in them, not awful just not perfect. If you've got a minute and you know how old this is I'd love to know. Overall piece is in very good condition. But take a good look at the photos as piece is being sold as-is.

The smaller panel is a 1937 Series 8, it was neatly trimmed and measures 6" x 6 1/2" and is still very colorful. The larger panel is a 1938 Series 10, it also was neatly trimmed and measures 6" x 8" and is still very colorful. There are no holes or creases in either panel, I am no grader but I would consider them to be in Very Good Condition! These are 2 Very Nice Vintage Memorabilia Collectibles. The back in marked HARVEY HUBBELL. INC. BRIDGEPORT. CONN. The switch plate does have surface scratches and corrosion. And is badly in need of cleaning. I don't edit photos. Who was trying to address a serious shortcoming of the keyed socket. Hubbell’s first version utilized a standard Lange shell with an internal pulley switch operated by a silk“tuna line” pull cord. The tuna line protected the user from shocks, but it was found to wear out and break too easily, so Hubbell went back to the drawing board. In 1900 he patented an improved version(now with the wider Tournier-type shell) that accomplished the insulation internally and allowed him to use a stronger brass ball chain pull. This is a very interesting Original Leaded Glass Signed Miller Boudoir Lamp. This wonderful little lamp has great Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls. The shad is quite unique is is leaded on the outside but not inside how this was done I have no clue!It has great old glass with large factory bubbles and swirl lines and it is very beautiful. The lamps base has a green finish there are areas of finish loss but over all most all of the finish is there. The cord is not original it was changed at some point to a newer wiring but the lamp is an older Miller lamp. The lamp stands about 16" to top finial the shade is 5 1/2" tall it is 12" wide and the lamp weighs about 6.11 pounds. I see no damage on this lamp just small signs of years of normal wear. Harvey Hubbell Brass LightSockets
At over 100 years old these three Harvey Hubbell sockets are in fantastic shape. All of them are made of brass and all three have the original mica discs as you can see in the picture. Only one of them has a very minor hairline crack. I took a picture of it so you can see. The pull actions are smooth and as you can see the acorns are all intact. These are key to any antique lamp or early electrical enthusiast. Don't let these get away. Read the history below and happy bidding. Vintage Antique Brass and Metal Table Bed Stand Adjustable Lamp HUBBELL Switch
Up for bid is a Vintage Antique Brass and Metal Table/ Bed Stand Lamp. This is a very unique(and adjustable) lamp and has"Hubbell" on the switch(see picture) This item stands about 7" tall without the shade or bulb and around 10" with bulb and shade(came with a 25 watt bulb which is not included) and weighs a bit under two pounds. To my surprise this lamp is adjustable in heigh t. The metal base unscrews to make this lamp go from 7" up to about 9 1/2" 12 1/2" with shade and bulb) This piece shows great patina throughout and is being left to next buyer as to how much cleaning is to be done. The wiring on this lamp is definitely older and may need to be redone. As you can see from one of the pictures it does(or at least did) work when I carefully and cautiously tested it! I cannot guarantee that it will continue ... moreto work without rewiring. That being said I am including pictures to show the plug and socket wires. Some fraying of the cloth cover is evident at both ends. I would rather err on the side of being cautious but the rest of the cord seems to be in fairly good shape. No tape jobs or cuts. The"HUBBELL" switch seems to turn nicely and has great on/ off clicks. The shade(which is non metallic) sort of snaps around the bulb. Pictures will show this mechanism on the inside of the shade. I am not sure of the age of this lamp. But I knew it was something different and unique when I saw and obtained it. Hopefully you will too and give it a good home. Here for your consideration is a lot of 2 antique brass sockets. The first is a combination pull chain socket and plug marked HUBBELL on both the socket and the hard rubberized plug. This has a tassel end pull chain in working order. Although this appears in good condition this is being sold AS IS since there is no way to test the socket or plug. The next item is a socket with a porcelain tip socket adapter marked BENJAMIN. PAT'D 9-10-12. This has been tested and is in good working condition. Bodies marked HARVEY HUBBELL PAT'D MAY 8.00 JULY 30.01 FEBY.18.08, and heavy embossed HUBBELL at pull chain bell. One has a lousy bottom fibre body insulator, one has 2 small cap dent(photo 5) and one has 2 very minor cap stretc spots(last photo is worst) Haven't checked electrically but both seem to work smoth.
