This is a DP 20K lbs military style bumper winch with Capstan extension. I just went through it and put all new seals. O-rings, bushings, shift collar and everything else that were below factory specifications. It has a new Eaton hydraulic motor on it also. I have rebuilt probably 40-50 of these and this 1 was in the best pre-rebuild condition than most of the others I've rebuilt. It does NOT have any cable with it.it comes exactly as in the pics as this is the exact winch for sell. It weighs about 350 pounds and will have to be shipped by LTL freight. J.D. Christian 2 Drum Waterfall Winch Marine Salvage towing lifting rigging
For Auction- 1- J.D. Christian 2 drum waterfall winch. This winch was used to pull barges on a cradle up a set of rails on the Kanawha River. It is a model 316OU and was manufactured in July of 1945. It has two main drums and a third auxiliary drum. All three are gear driven and have band brakes. They also each have a capstan on the outside. I am sure the brake banding is no good. Each of the two drums has what we would call a jaw clutch. The winch was driven by a Buda 6 cylinder engine that is probably not operational. The stack has been open to the weather. We have not tried to start it. There is a snap clutch followed by a multispeed gearbox of some sort. In front of the operator is another gearbox of some sort operated by one of the three large handles in form or the seat. There is 3/4" cable on the drums but it is rusted and will ... moreneed replaced. Overall. The winch is in pretty good condition. Of course it is rusted and will require a great deal of work, freeing and cleanup to operate. It will most likely need to be repowered as well. The operators station has 3 large levers. Military Wrecker Winch M936
This winch from the wrecker boom of M936 6x6 military wrecker. It appears to be rebuilt and possibly shipped in 2010 based on the shipping label. I don't have any records or proof of this. I bought the winch from a government auction. Wrecker booms were rated to lift 20.000 lbs. The winches were rigged through a block and pulley on the wrecker booms. I don't know the actual overhead lifting rating or pull rating on these winches. I've seen them advertised as 20,000 lb. winches. These winches were originally powered by a hydraulic motor. The adapter to mount the hydraulic motor is included. The hydraulic motor is not included. I do not have any of the hydraulic motors. This winch could also by powered by a PTO by using an appropriate adapter on the input shaft. I will assist a buyer in selecting a hydraulic motor for a specific ... moreapplication if desired. I think this winch would be a good candidate to use for a 3 point hitch winch for a farm tractor to pull logs etc. Large diameter grooved drum will hold about 75' of cable in one layer. Weight without the shipping crate is around 375 lbs. Drum is easily removable if a smaller diameter drum is desired for higher line pull and more cable. I sold one for use as a recovery winch on a medium duty truck. We removed the drum to verify this would be feasible. I have several of these winches available. The auction is for one only. I have two rehabilitation winches and one power winch remote control up for sell. They are used and will need some work. One the plug receptacle needs to be replaced. It is cracked. When plugged into the remote this one actually works as it should. I put it in release and it spins backwards to disengage the drive then you can pull out the cable. When put in forward it engages and pulls strong retrieving the cable.These are used so see pictures for details they have nicks and bends and grease. The second one has a good plug but it only works in forward I cant get it to release to pull cable back out. I opened it up and there is rust on the switch so maybe it will be a easy fix with the right replacement part. The remote control works but the wire is really rough, I wrapped it up with electrical tape but it would be best to be replaced I think. ... moreThese ridgid 700 power drives are work horses and replacement parts are easily found. I took a couple of short videos on my phone so if you would like to see them running just shoot me a email and I could try to text it to you. These are big and heavy so I will not be able to ship them but could drop them off locally to a shipping Company if buyer sets it all up. Winch Tulsa M19 SLEFO 20,000 Pounds Line Pull
This winch was removed from a truck in working condition. We turned the truck into a silage truck and had no use for the winch. It was PTO/chain driven on our truck so there is a sprocket on it but no drive motor or cable. It needs paint but appears to be in pretty good shape. Not bent, no breaks or cracks in the casting etc. I can put it on a pallet but the buyer is responsible for arranging shipping. Please do not contact me for a shipping quote. It weights about 350lbs.

this is a winch that came off a 2008 Kenworth. It was in good working condition when it was taken off. It comes with the PTO, PTO shaft, controller, winch, mounting plate, rack, and some other stuff.
