Mosquito Magnet Liberty Plus Thermoelectric Module
Removed from my Liberty Plus. Which will not start up reliably. I tested it by using a hair dryer to blow hot air thru the combustion chamber. It produced about 1/2 volt DC after the dryer was running for about 30 seconds. Then, the dryer shut off. My gf is pissed. This may not seem like enough voltage, but the main circuit board has a dc to dc converter built in which takes the 4.8 volts from the battery(which can drop as low as 3.0 volts and still operate) and boosts it up to 12 volts to run the system and the 12 volt fan. So, I would guess this same converter can boost 2-3 volts(or whatever is produced by this thermocouple module when it gets hot) up to 4.8 to 5.2 volts to charge the 4.8 volt battery. That is the only function of this thermocouple module; to charge the 4.8 volt battery.

The only thing i can find cosmetically wrong with it is a very faint scratch shown in the last picture. But looks worse in the picture than in person. And on the clear part of the door i tried to show what looks like a scratch, but you need to look very hard to see it. If you are more than 2' away you cannot see it at all. This is a working COLEMAN 5645 40 QUART 12V PORTABLE THERMOELECTRIC CAR or HOME COOLER. This can be plugged into a vehicle lighter/power socket or use it with the adapter and plug it into a 120VAC outlet. This unit has normal wear and is in good condition. I had to do some minor repair work to the plug shown in the last picture. The plastic cracked near the end so I used some EPOXY to repair it and it works fine( I tested it several times in the car and in the house) Please look at all pictures carefully for its' condition.
