25kV High Voltage Test Probe.
This probe was designed for older meters with 20.000 ohms per volt inputs, like the 260 series. Most all modern meters have much higher input impedance and will not give you readings as expected. Please know what you are buying. Don't expect to plug this into a Fluke 77 and get expected results. You can see in the picture I got 5 volts per 1000 with a Fluke 77 It will work and if you have some known voltages you can figure out how many volts per Kv the probe will give you. I expect that with modern meters of 1 Meg ohm or more input impedance you could put a 20k ohm resistor across the meter terminals in parallel with the probe and get pretty accurate results. This beautifully maintained AT-8121 is in superb condition with only very light wear. It comes complete with Receiver. Transmitter, Probes, Ks 6569 dry battery and a nice clean carry case. I don't think you'll find another one in this fine condition. Even the leather carry handles are in fantastic shape and you can smell the fresh leather when you open it. Like I said, this was not used much just by the clean appearance of the kit. This was from the estate of a former IL Bell retiree and it was part of his personal collection. Again, this was not tested please carefully look over all pictures because I do not except returns.
