These stamps were printed in brown/gold/blue as part of a booklet of 10 test stamps. This auction is for a complete set of the progressive color pressure trials of each color. They were printed in 1963 for PFA Stamp Printing Works(Sweden Post Stamps) These blocks which are all imperf horizontally but completely perfed around otherwise. The different tests in the 3-colour stamp printing press. Which was delivered in 1965 by Goebel. EACH BLOCK IS Horiz. IMPERFORATED- A VERY RARE. Within this set of 11 the block with yellow only and the block of brown only and the block with blue frame only are the very rarest. The yellow and ... moreblue frame only are the next rarest. The newly discovered solid Blue block of six is very very rare and is partially imperf vertically between the top two and middle two stamps in the block of SIX. With a protective hood that locks in both positions. In the"standby" position the hood slides over the probe tip to protect it from damage, and to protect you from stabbing yourself. The other end has a standard TT plug. There are two ways to use the test probe. With method 1. The probe tip is used as an extension of the tip of the TT plug. You can inject signal into a patchbay, or monitor a signal from the patchbay, using the probe. Method 2 is a continuity test. You insert the TT plug into the TT jack under test and measure resistance between ring and sleeve downstream from the patchbay- at the far end of the wires or connector going ... moreto the TT patchbay point. Etc. Normally, the test probe provides a short between ring and sleeve of the TT but but you can interrupt this short by pressing a button on the probe. Original Uni-probe leads from Heathkit VTVM model IM18. Worked fine when last used years ago. But since then volt meter has died and been sent to recycle, therefore no easy way to test. This is the switchable AC-Ohms-DC model. Probe is in good condition,but alligator clip did take a large spark at one time, so might need to be replaced as the tip of it is messed up a bit, still opens and closes okay. I did notice a small amount of age cracking on the black lead, but these are pretty old. Nevertheless, they are also very hard to find original ones. Voltmeter pictured is not included in auction.
