Antique Vintage Lot of 2 PATCHWORK BASKET Quilt Blocks found in OHIO c.1930-1945. LAST ONES. These adorable quilt blocks are approx. 9.5 inches to 10" square and are 13.5 inches on point. Only 1 seams per block is machine-pieced. The rest of the patchwork is Hand-Pieced and the basket handles are hand-appliqued. Placement of the handle prior to sewing is marked by using a threadless machine to"draw" a marking line. The colors are typical 1930's-40's dress, close-woven feedsack, and apron fabrics in yellow, orchid, red, green, pink, blue, with white, etc on unbleached muslin.
