The right back leg has been repaired. It needs to be repainted to hide the repair. There is some cracking of the paint on the same leg. This listing is for a vintage metal Victor projector extention cabinet with the original speaker and wiring. These are easily converted for use with low watt guitar amps.vintage tube amps work great. Its a 16ohm speaker that looks to be in excellent condition. I believe this is a vintage Phillips 12" speaker. This cabinet is in pretty much its original late 40s-early 50s condition. The metal'VICTOR' grill is in great condition as is the cloth background covering. This cab has both orig front and rear covers. The original wire is included and is fairly long. An EP By Barbara Carroll Trio(Joe Shulman& Ralph Pollack) Just Plain Blue" on Rca Victor EPA 604 The record is in excellent condition. See Photo) The vinyl on it is in NM condition. The cardboard sleeve is in E condition. Shows just a little aging otherwise in excellent condition. See Photo) Grading. My grading system for 78 records is the N.E,V,G system. The following definitions for this system are from Docks Record Guides. New(N) Apparently unplayed and showing no signs of wear. Excellent(E) Showing only slight wear. Playing surfaces still retain much of their original shine. Surface noise is minimal. Very Good(V) Somewhat more worn than an excellent record, Slight grayness appearing in the grooves. Especially in louder passages. Still a fairly clean and acceptable copy. Surface and extraneous noise is noticeable. But does not ... moreoverwhelm the music. Good(G) A misnomer. A“good” record is really not so good. It shows considerable wear and usage. Grayness in the grooves, Random mars and light abrasions from a sleeveless existence. Surface noise is prominent enough to impair enjoyment of the music. Fair(F) and Poor(P) indicate the lowest grades of the condition code. Since only the rarest records would be saleable in these grades. They appear infrequently. Plus and minus signs are often suffixed to above grades to indicate a somewhat better or worse grade. When appropriate. Packing& Shipping All records are professionally packed. I use oversize new boxes. I tape two cardboard mailers. One on each side of the record. I put plenty of bubblewrap over that and then pack it in the oversize box using crumpled newspaper as cushion. Be sure to check out my other auctions for Lots of 78‘s. The following definitions for this system are from Docks Record Guides. New(N) Apparently ... moreunplayed and showing no signs of wear. Excellent(E) Showing only slight wear. Playing surfaces still retain much of their original shine. Surface noise is minimal. Very Good(V) Somewhat more worn than an excellent record, Slight grayness appearing in the grooves. Especially in louder passages. Still a fairly clean and acceptable copy. Surface and extraneous noise is noticeable. But does not overwhelm the music. Good(G) A misnomer. A“good” record is really not so good. It shows considerable wear and usage. Grayness in the grooves, Random mars and light abrasions from a sleeveless existence. Surface noise is prominent enough to impair enjoyment of the music. Fair(F) and Poor(P) indicate the lowest grades of the condition code. Hey. Thanks for checking out this listing. This is a 45j2 Victrola 45 RPM record changer. I believe this was introduced to the market in either late 1949 or early 1950 as one of the new models made to play the newly introduced 45 RPM discs. It was meant to be connected to a pre-existing radio or 78 RPM phonograph by its audio cable(RCA cord, the one still widely used today! I will try my best to describe and assess the condition as well as possible. I found this unit recently and took it home. To find it was totally dead. Would not power on, would not spin, and I couldn't even move the arm by hand as it was stuck in place. I opened it up to tinker with the innards, made a few adjustments on a few things, etc. everything looked really good on the inside- not perfect, but unusually good for something of this age that has not been restored. ... moreAfter putting it back together I plugged it back in, and she was spinning, but still had issues with the arm movement and reject mechanism. Made a few more internal realignments, and after that she was running rather beautifully. The turntable was running on speed, the arm lift mechanism was smooth and well executed, and the disc reject button worked perfectly as well, very smooth, no jamming of the blades or anything. All the wiring is original, the power cord, audio cable, etc. the only thing not original on this is the cartridge and stylus. Which I replaced. There are a number of new replacement cartridges available in 2013 for this model. Some less expensive than others. I however ordered the BEST one for this model, in my opinion. I found many that are just modern cartridges retrofitted for this antique record player, the one that I installed is the only one that faithfully performs like the original would have. It also has the benefit of tracking much lighter and thus, causing much less wear on your valuable records. The original cartridge was meant to track in OUNCES as opposed to grams. Record Label, RCA Victor, Artist, Multiple, Record Condition, VG, Sleeve Condition, G, RPM, 33, MINT(M) Perfect! This record looks like it has just left the manufacturer. With NO flaws what so ever. It looks as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains. No stickers address labels, writing on the covers or labels. No tears or seam splits. No wear to the cover or record period! Age of the record ... morehas nothing to do with it. NEAR MINT or NM. M- this record appears virtually flawless A very minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. It should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw is very hard to see. The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age. Minor impressions to the cover(due to the outer edge of the vinyl resting inside) may be acceptable. However the artwork is be as close to perfect as can be. EXCELLENT or EX or VG++: minor scuffs which are only slightly visible. There may be more than a few scuffs and NO Scratches COVER: Artwork is still as close to perfect as can be. Some impression to the cover(minor outer ring wear) but no ink wear! Some slight creases to the corners. But not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye. The corners can show white(where the artwork pasted slick was) meaning, slight wear. No seam splits or writing on the cover or taped repairs can make this grade. VERY GOOD PLUS or VG+ record shows wear. Surface scuffs. The vinyl still has a great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. If the flaws don't cause any surface noise, the vinyl can still make the VG+ grade. C

This machine is great with the exception the bottom has some seperation. The motor has been cleaned and the mainspring has been removed. Cleaned and re-greased. As new and unplayed(there are virtually no 78s that can categorically be claimed to be unplayed) N- ... moreNearly Mint. But has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage. E+. Plays like new. With very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets. E. Still very shiny. Near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches. E- Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record. Few light scratches. V+. An average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced V. Moderate. Even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive. V- Quite playable still. But distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level. G+. Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches. G. Quite seriously worn and scratched. But music level is still higher than surface noise. G- Music still prominent. But wear and scratch damage extensive. F. The following definitions for this system are from Docks Record Guides. New(N) Apparently unplayed and showing no signs of wear. Excellent(E) Showing only slight wear. Playing surfaces still retain much of their original shine. Surface noise is minimal. Very Good(V) Somewhat more worn than an excellent record, Slight grayness appearing in the grooves. Especially in louder passages. Still a fairly clean and acceptable copy. Surface and extraneous noise is noticeable. But does not overwhelm the music. Good(G) A misnomer. A“good” record is really not so good. It shows considerable wear and usage. Grayness in the grooves, Random mars and light abrasions from a sleeveless existence. Surface noise is prominent enough to impair enjoyment of the music. Fair(F) and Poor(P) indicate the lowest grades of the condition code. Since only the rarest records would be saleable in these grades. They appear infrequently. Plus and minus signs are often suffixed to above grades to indicate a somewhat better or worse grade. 7 number 3. jump traps. 6 victor one blake and lamb, traps are strong good traps overall. Traps have some rust, 2 have the pans cut down but work fine,see pics, traps have short chain great for coyote bobcat fox. Victor Track Torch VCM 100 Nice One! Oxy Acetylene/Plasma Cutter
Here's a very nice used Victor brand Track torch(USA) Comes with 24" hexagonal gear rack arm but no torch holder. It moves freely and locks properly. Use it with a machine torch or a plasma cutter. Tested and working well. Sounds good. Speed adjuster and reverse switches work great. Nothing broken or damaged. No cracks in castings, etc. Interestingly this machine has speed and engage/disengage wheel levers on BOTH sides of the unit. Very nice feature. Even the speed indicator(little red ball in the clear window) works. Wheel spacing is standard 6" on center. I replaced the power cord with a heavy 12 footer as the original was getting kinda ratty. So. You're good to go on this one. No issues other than a little dirt and very minor surface rust-a lot cleaner than a lot of track torches i've seen. 4 RUSTY VICTOR TRAPS
I think my ex. Used these 4 traps one season. Obviously they where not treated. They are still functional. Just need some TLC. There is one that is much more rusty than the other three. I found some old records in a closet; they were covered with dust and were in a brown Victor folder that fell apart when I opened it. This record was pressed by Victor Talking Machine Company and issued about 1906. DESCRIPTION: This item is an antique 78 rpm record. Is one-sided, has a black and gold"Grand Prize" Victor label, and is 10 inches in diameter. It is Victor 4885, is take 2, and has no visible matrix number. On the back is a Victor Records conditions sticker that is dated from July 1, 1906. CONDITION: This item does have some visible ... morecondition issues: the label is somewhat faded and has a light round needle scratch. There are small scuffs and light scratches all over this item, and this item is dusty/dirty and needs to be cleaned. Highlights: this old record has no visible cracks. Edge chips, digs, heavy scratches, label tears, stickers or writing on the label, warps, heat or water damage.
