This is a Hobart plamsa cutter. Model AirForce 750. It is not in good working order. It will not maintain an arc. Tried a whole new torch/whip assembly(being sold separately) but this did not fix the problem. Someone who knows how to work on this may be able to figure out the problem. Please note that the torch/whip that comes with this will be the OLD one, not the new one which is in the picture. The old one has had many wires spliced inside the torch, but it did work the last time the machine worked.

I have had this plasma cutter for about 5 years. It slices through everything very easily. I have personally severed 3/4" plate and its spec sheet calls for 7/8" as well. There is a handful of consumables that come with it. And a brand new never used fine cut kit that allows for an extremely small kerf on steel up to 11ga(about 1/8" I believe) Would prefer a local pickup and am willing to drive some if negotiated prior to auction end. ICE-50C Plasma Cutter Torch
This torch is practically brand new. I bought it thinking that our old torch was the problem with our plamsa cutter. But it was not. This torch was only tried a few times before we put the whole machine in storage. It was left on the machine and moved around in storage for about a year(unused) so there are some minor scuffs and dirt on the outside. There is only one substantial scrape in the outside insulation(see picture) but it is deffinitely not thru the insulation. This should be in perfect working order with almost unused consumables in it. I bought this for $500, they retail for much more.

The shop I am in does not have 3 ph so I am unable to use this unit. It was working. But because of no way to plug it in, it is being sold as-is. The plasma cutter has two hook places in the rear for duel air systems. Right now it is set up to run single line compressed air. 25 foot long PowerMax 600 Plasma Cutter Cable with Torch, For Parts
This came new with my plasma cutter. And I have used it for several years. As sometimes happens in a welding shop, the insulation on the cable got melted in a few spots, which I electrical-taped, and it never caused any trouble. Later I replaced most of the parts in the torch head with new Hypertherm parts and used it some more. Then it started burning up consumables and arcing strangely or not drawing a pilot arc. After replacing several parts in the plasma cutter, I concluded that it was the cable, so I upgraded to a newer torch and cable style, which solved the problem. I'm sure it's repairable, but I don't know exactly what the problem is.

We just moved into a new facility that only has 440 V power and this machine is 220 3P and we can not utilize the machine in our new facility. Machine has a hand torch(purchased new a few years ago) in excellent condition. This is a Pow Con Plasma Cutter with the power inverter for the welder. All I know about this is what I've been told. I bought it for the plasma cutter and bought a brand pistol for it for over $300.00 and had it switched to single phase and all it would do is fire up and blow the air out, probably not that much wrong with the plasma cutter part but I lost interest and just want to sell it. It is switchable between single and double phase by switching wires on a panel inside. The inverter that is bolted to the top usually don't come with these units I'm told and is a bonus.
