Table is of unknown year. I believe it's 1990's. The Hypertherm equipment is from 2004. This was purchased from a liquidator who got this from a defense contractor that had filed bankruptcy. I purchased it in it's current condition. About 8 months ago, out of storage, untested. I was told it was in working condition when it was stored. Due to not being able to put a power source to it, I have only been able to test one thing, the EDGE Controller, which powered on and ... moreworked just fine. I bought this cutter new. It has a date of May 2001 on it so I guess it was right around that time. I've used it very little; it probably has an hour of actual use on it. I have a'home shop' only and it has not seen commercial use or used my anyone but me. It works with no problems nor has it ever had any issues that needed fixing or looking into. It has spent its life on a cart underneath my TIG welder inside a climate controlled shop. It's a little dusty but has never seen outdoor use or been exposed to the elements. miller spectrum 187 plasma cutter
This is a miller 187 dc plasma cutting system. We bought it new quite a few years ago but has seen limited use. We only used it for light sheet metal but I believe it will cut up to 3/16. We have not used it for a long time so I fired it up and it seemed to cut.090 wall tubing just fine. It could probably use a new tip but other than that it seemed fine. Do not consider this if you are planing to cut over 3/16 you will be disappointed. But if you wanting to cut body panels and such this should do the job just fine. Hypertherm MAX42 Plasma Cutter, 40Amp, Used nice condition, Plasma Cutter, 1/2"
I have a Nice USED Hypertherm MAX42 40 Amp 1/2" capacity Plasma Cutter. I bought this New for $3100 and have used it in my home work shop. It will cut 1/2" steel and sever 5/8'3/4" I am to the point that I can't work in my shop anymore and some of these things will be sold. I love this Machine as it does not use HIGH FREQUENCY to Start or Maintain the Arc. You can cut Expanded Metal and just hold the trigger and go from wire to wire and it will keep cutting. A lot of the Plasma Cutters you have to pull the trigger to Re-Start the cut but not with this unit. This is an Inverter style unit and weighs like 47Lbs without the Torch. It has a 25 Ft Torch and about a 15-20ft. Ground cable. Included is a Hypertherm Support box of extra tips and nozzles etc. All is in the pictures. There are a couple of small breaks in the case ... moresince it is plastic. And one was a foot on the front when I first bought it and I JB welded it and it has been perfect. This is a Air Plasma Cutter so all you need is a air compressor and you need to make sure you air is Dry and there is a Moisture Seperator on the back of the unit and I always added another at my tank to make sure. If you get water into the tip when cutting it will mess up the Consumables pretty fast. There are a pretty good number of Tips included with the support Package. There was some repair done to the cable going to the torch which was a rubber cover that has been replaced and does not affect the operation of the unit. Like I said I am On Disability now and can not play in my shop anymore and I loved being able to zing a piece of Steel or Aluminum and be able to pick it up with a bare hand. I used a torch for years until I saw this work and just had to have one. Hypertherm is the BEST out there. Made to last. This unit may look a little rough compare to a new one but it probably only has a 100 hrs of actual cutting time on it. Only used to cut a hunk of metal for 30 seconds or a minute and turn it off. You don't take long to cut anything with one.

It will cut up to a 5'x10' sheet. The frame is aluminum and can be disassembled. The plasma cutter is a Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 101 with a 25' machine torch. It has the Torchmate Arc Voltage torch height control unit that controls the Z height or the tip distance to the surface. It has the cable carrier system. Also has the torch mate machine interface for router and the physical Z-Axis routing for the Torchmate 3. The router has an air motor with the z-axis drive shown in the photos. The drive and motor mounts to a plate with the plasma head so you can drill holes and then cut. You can also use it as a router only without the plasma cutter. This is for the person that already owns one of these or a very adventurous person with too much time on his/her hands! All I can tell you is this plasma cutter came off a functioning machine that we were asked to upgrade to U.S. equipment. It came from Germany. It is an automated system which explains why their are no controls to speak of. The top is not bolted down because the customer wanted the torch. For some strange reason. Over-all condition is good. I can't vouch that it can cut since the customer took the torch. There are manuals with it but I'm not sure there is one for the Plasma Cutter itself since it's been a while since I spoke German. Quite frankly, I'm not sure that I ever did speak German since I was born in the U.S. and am of Scottish/Irish decent. My grandma always said to put the Scottish first. I think ... moreit was because she was from Scotland. I digress. Anyway it seemed a shame not to list this precision piece of German engineering before resigning myself to defeat on this one.
