A beautiful antique retractable gold filled dip pen that measures 5 3/8” when fully extended. Marked on the pen side H.M. SMITH& CO. Marked on the nib H.M. SMITH& CO. NEW YORK/ 4. In very nice used condition with a tiny bit of wear to the edges(seen when viewed through a loupe) The dark ebony handle looks good with no cracks or chips. The pen nib has a slight bend to it. The nib appears to be solid gold. But is not marked. The nib end slides freely in and out with no problem. The wood end does not slide into the pen body(I think that maybe it should. But I am not sure) Very nice. No Reserve. Buyer to pay $3.00 for First Class shipping and handling. Showing the cooperation between the gun& ammo manufacturers, concerning a Model 1917.45 caliber revolver belonging to a man in Berea, Ky, which had been sent to Smith& Wesson for repairs. In this letter, Western Cartridge expresses the opinion that the damage to the gun's barrel was caused by oil soaked cartridges, and they authorize Smith& Wesson to invoice them for one-half of the expense of repairs(placing a new barrel on the revolver) Fine. 27 35mm Slides 1967 USS Richmond K Turner Capt Floyd E Smith Party Vietnam Era
In going through a stack of slides I bought several years ago from an estate auction. I found this unusual set in the collection that appears to be the personal travel slides from the family of Captain Floyd E. Smith. This lot of 27 from that collection shows a celebration for the Change of Command for DLG-20(the USS Richmond K. Turner) and some family shots of dinners with Capt Smith on board the ship(some of the family dinner slides have"DLG-20" written on the borders) The photo of the cake clearly indicates the date of the celebration slides- May 25, 1967. That was the date Captain Floyd E. Smith took over command of the Richmond K. Turner in(I think) San Diego, and he held that role until December 1968. During his command the ship did spend time in Vietnam. A few of the celebration slides do have exposure issues, but most look ... morepretty nice. It's hard to judge their overall quality from my photos shown as they are just photos of the slides on a light board that were cropped and combined, so assume the slides are much better quality. NOTE: After preparing this auction ad, I think that the middle slide in the last of my photos does not belong in this group as having to do with the Richmond K Turner, but since it is shown it will still be included.

Avon Copper Smith Hammered Brass Bowl or Tray
We are offering a hammered brass low bowl or tray by Avon Copper Smith. It was made in the shop owned by Arthur Cole a former Roycroft employee. He left there and later opened his shop in nearby Avon. NY and made many pieces like the one shown here. Though mostly done in copper, many pieces have the hammering and detail not smoothed away. The patina is as found and has many uses. It is nice for business cards, or other soft desk items, etc. It measures 5 1/2 inches across by one half inch tall. There must have been a sticker for a price on the bottom, maybe the original. All sales are final so please ask any questions up front. Thanks for looking.

Original domed glass, good old oxidized brass surface, some staining on paper face which is curved but floats well on center spindle. 950- This handheld sun-dial is self-aligning. The sundial plate of stiff paper floats freely with compass markings on outer ring. Compass markings on dial and hours by Roman numerals with fifteen minute intervals. PRS SE 245 in Tortoise with Bird Inlays. One Month Old. Paul Reed Smith.
I recently learned about the Paul Reed Smith SE line. And thought they were really great, and not all that expensive. So about a month ago I bought two, one with humbuckers and one with soap bars. I think the soapbars sound better through my amp, so I am selling the one with humbuckers. This guitar is only a month old. So it is in great condition. EXC+++ condition. antique laddle tongs cast iron black smith butchering smelting log cabin hearth
I have never seen this size tools before. May be blacksmith tongs and laddle for smeltin or tools for the early butchering hearth and home. The laddle is stamped 7 forged from iron with a pour spout and is 31" long with the bowl on end 7.25 across needs cleaning and seasoning. You can see that it has been in and out of a fire and there is build up inside the cup part. The tongs are 39" working pivoting tongs that have no mark on them and hold items up to 22" wide when the tongs are fully opened and become small enough to close completly or hold a horse shoe size or smaller. If any one out there has knowledge of these items please let me know. They are both made from cast iron and they have early style curly cues on the handles both are dirty and some corrosion. Vintage Garden Insecticide Blizzard Bug Sprayer Copper & Brass D.B. Smith & Co.
ITEM OFFERED AT A LOW"BUY IT NOW" PRICE For your consideration we are offering this vintage garden insecticide sprayer. Featured is a"Blizzard" hand held sprayer manufactured by the D.B. Smith Company of Utica. New York. The insecticide tank is made of copper and the pump tube is made of brass. Upon pumping the sprayer it appears to have good compression and may very well work. I would suggest cleaning out the tank and sprayer nozzle and lubricating the compression gasket in the oiling hole in pump tube. FYI: This is the same type insecticide sprayer used by Marlon Brando's grandson while spraying his tomato garden in the"Godfather" movie. Art Deco Palmer Smith Hammered Aluminum Compote - Rare Design
Here is one rare art deco hammered aluminum compote/ centerpiece bowl by Palmer Smith- circa 1930's. I could not locate another example of this shape anywhere else online. It measures 7 inches tall by 10 inches in diameter. The design features three"hooks" which support the bowl. The foot consists of a solid aluminum disk. As pictured. There is some typical pitting on the inside of the bowl and some scratches and scuffs here and there. Nothing major or offensive. The bowl could use further polishing to really shine.
