Please look this cabinet over and ask questions if in doubt The door latch is in the door and it appears this could be restored back to the way it was when it left the factory The wire gong& base are present in the clock The weight pulleys are in the clock and turning easy Original hand painted reverse painted glass remains present in the clock. There is a small loss of the paint but it is in untouched condition and shows well after 170 years. This glass is a sign of welcoming as it has the fruit or vegetable harvest The upper glass is old& wavy and original to the clock. I would estimate this guitar has been played less than 12 hours total and never outside of the home. It shows absolutely no signs of wear. I could easily list it as new if it wasn't about 7 years old. I tried to take a variety of pictures in different lighting to show the detail especially within the top. My partner in Manhattan recently purchased the Greenwhich Village estate of John P. Sullivan. Son of a well known early 1900's Buffalo Democratic Leader. Mr. Sullivan's estate also included what had been the estate of David Winfield Jackson, Jr. his companion, who passed away in 1988. The men were kindred spirits in both their love of the theatre and their passion for collecting theatrical& movie photo's, autographs, playbills and other memorabilia. There were literally thousands of items representing a 50 year love affair with the theatre. Mr Jackson tried his hand at writing plays, and had advanced degrees in theatre from Penn State. The correspondence from the estate revealed how resourceful these two were in acquiring their treasures. Smith Moon and Star Amber Courting lamp. It measures 6 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide across the middle. The piece itself has one small flea bite just above the sharp tapering seams from the press when made. I tried to get a picture, but it didn't turn out, that's how small it is. Old Moon and Star pattern glass compote. Carnival glass, marigold on milk glass, possibly L.E. Smith(please see attached pictures) Compote is 8&1/8" tall, is unmarked, as mentioned has a marigold carnival glass treatment over the milk glass, and condition is as follows: Compote has chipping and glass"peeling" on the outside rim at the top of the stem as shown, and chipping/peeling on the bottom rim as shown. Also, there is a 1" surface crack at the bottom rim(typical of old milk glass) as well as shown. Requires $12.00 shipping and US sale only.
