This USA made black face shield arc welder is powered by the Continental F-163 4 cylinder flathead gasoline engine and is rated at 200 amp. 40 volt at 60% duty cycle. This quality made and lightly used vintage welder was the backbone of the metal age. This welder is up and running and will weld but as seen in the pictures has been neglected and setting dormant for a while and will be needing some well deserving maintenance prior to being put into professional daily use. This welder does have the cold weather air breather warmer. Original gas tank and radiator with no leaks and strong motor with no oil leaks. Stick welder on trailer. This runs great. It's powered by a 4 cylinder continental f-163 engine. Near as I can tell from the serial number it is about a 1970. Leads are in good shape. And included in auction. Has Oxygen Acetylene tanks and hoses for torch. While it looks rough. There is just surface rust, no holes, no weak points that I could even go through with a hammer on the entire unit. It could use a paint job, but it is solid. Some welding sticks included. It is designed for SMAW welding but when coupled with a compressor could handle light air arc gouging as well. It is mounted to a trailer frame. Tires are in usable condition but have been sitting. The unit was put away into storage about 3 years ago and ran very well when it was stored. It may need some minor repairs as it hasn't been run since but prior to being put away it was running very well and putting down a good weld bead. Water pump, fan belt, alternator, idler control board, idler solenoid, and faceplate. Mag also rebuilt. Machine was disassembled. Abrasive blasted, primed, and finished with single stage polyurethane paint. Compressions measured: 125. 130, 125, 130 psi. Leads: stinger is 30ft. Ground is 22ft. The leads have taped spots but there is no damage to the copper and they work well. The trailer has a 2” ball. It was also blasted and painted. Be sure to review my feedback. For Auction: One Lincoln SA 200 Welder. Short hood, Year 1955 converted to run on propane. I am listing this"for parts or not working because I have not seen this welder run" I traded for it and do not have the time to put into in now. The starter has been taken apart for repairs and never fixed properly(no guarantee that all of the starter parts are there) See pics of repairs on starter. The engine turns over with a wrench so the engine is not locked up. The gasoline tank is still on this machine. The Welder code is 2954, Welder serial number is A332957( according to lincolnelectric.com this is a 1955 model) The engine code is L947, engine serial number is 182586, Engine is Lincoln Model L-200(not sure what the Continental number is for this engine) This welder is being sold As-Is with no promises that it runs. Fairbanks Morse X4B16B magneto. Four cylinder. Inverted flange mount. Excellent shape internally, and no stripped mounting threads. Fits Lincoln welders. The magneto throws a nice hot spark. The cap is in very good shape with no cracks. I call my magneto rebuilds"refurbished" magnetos. I check these magnetos over completely top to bottom. Everything comes out and everything goes back in only if it matches the specifications. As determined by my Graham Lee magneto tester! New parts are used inside as needed to provide years of service. This magneto is fully repaired, but I do not go through and replace every replaceable item. That's good for you since that takes away sometimes up to 75% of the cost of a magneto repair. I have been doing this for some time, both for my personal engines and customer engines. I know these old ignition ... moresystems. If you are buying this to replace an old magneto. Contact me after or before you buy it with a picture of the old one and I can quote you a discount for sending me a good rebuildable core.
