Up for auction is a Meco N Midget gas/oxygen torch with N-O tip and 12' of hoses. It is used but still in good working condition. The valves turn freely and close completely. The tip shows a little wear and has some discoloration but is still in good condition. There are some scratches and the brass has a little patina but nothing that will affect its performance. These are great torches and are used by glassblowers. Welders, and jewelers. The N-O tip which is included is for use with acetylene and oxygen. The hoses are grade RM for acetylene and oxygen and have size(A) fittings. If you plan to use use this torch with Propane or Natural gas you will want to purchase OX series tips and Grade T hoses. Up for auction is a nice little torch with OX2/36 tip and just under 10' of hoses. I do not know the maker of the torch but it is very similar to the popular meco midget. It is a european torch and has 1/4" BSP(British standard pipe thread) fittings. There are adapters from 1/4" BSP to 3/8" BSP that attach to the hoses. The set of barbs and nuts shown but not attached to the hoses are also 3/8" BSP. It is used but still in good condition. The hoses are 2 ply lightweight and very flexible. They are much nicer than the hoses that generally come with small torches. The valves turn freely and have a solid feel to them. The tip shows some wear and has some discoloration but still looks pretty good. There are some scratches and the brass has a little patina but nothing that will affect its performance. Back in 1970. His first torch was a Victor J-100, a nice size for iron workers, but Kent's talent was for thin sheet, tubing, and more precise work.
