Up for sale is a Barcus-Berry 4000XL preamp and pickup for acoustic piano. I purchased it on eBay about a year and a half ago for a gig. I have only used it two or three times since. As I don't use it much I have decided to sell it. It has been kept in my smoke-free/pet-free home since I purchased it. It is used but in excellent condition both cosmetically and functionally. It comes with the 4000 XL preamp box(operates off of phantom power or nine volt battery) and the piano pickup itself(with quarter inch tip/sleeve plug) I connected the unit to my mixer and placed the pickup on my piano to test it before listing it on eBay and it works as it should. Edelkrone SliderPlus XL - Camera slider / dolly - 3ft
Up for auction is my Sliderplus XL from Edelkrone. It is in good working condition. But had a number of scratches on the finish(see pictures) The basic concept is simple. It uses a geared system to allow double the travel length. So while the slider itself is only a foot and a half long, it can travel almost 3 feet. It is super smooth. And allows for dolly in and out shots that you cant get with any other slider because the track moves out of the way as you pull back. There are many examples online of these ingenious sliders working. Please take a moment to google it. This particular one has served me well for over a year. I have used it on countless real estate tours and a ton of interviews and narrative work. its easy to bring with you because it is so small and you can pretty much leave it on your tripod all day. It does require a fairly ... moreheavy duty tripod to support it. It will also work on the ground. With adjustable feet, but you only get 1.5 feet of travel that way. The brake mechanism was causing me some stuttering in my shots. So I contacted Edelkrone and they sent a brand new barake system. Both the original and the new one ar eincluded, I never put it back on, as I found it to work great without it. One of the original feet is missing. But I have a set of replacement feet on it that work just fine(see pictures) and am including 2 extra of this size feet as well as a set of 4 that are longer to get it over higher/ uneven ground. I found the locking mechanism difficult to undo while shooting so I added a wii remote strap to the mechanism to make it easy to undo quickly(included) There is a normal amount of wear and tear on the slider.
