This auction is for a rare AM/Shortwave FADA Model PL72 AC/DC portable radio. Chassis number 72 1885. Radio dial has nautical theme(sailboats) My r esearch indicates it wa s probably built in 1941. This 7 3 year old radio has not been used for at least 30 years(dry basement storage) New Owner would definitely want to test capacitors and tubes before plugging it in. Especially after being shipped. Radio is complete with all tubes. Leather wrapped handle, hinged/slide open dial cover and should be restorable. It does show it's age to some degr ee. Loop antenna has connections on it for external antenna and ground. I only charge actual shipping. No handling or packaging charges. BEAUTIFUL COWHIDE ENCASED 1955 PHILCO PORTABLE RADIO Model D-655 ~ Production 121 ~ Serial 80519 This Philco D-655 121 has been my collection for some 30 years. I purchased it knowing that it didn't play. That was never a concern since it was a display radio. It's possible it may play with a fresh battery in line but I don't have a proper battery. The value of this radio is in the superb. Beautiful Cowhide leather case. It's in wonderful condition. Study that first photo. Seeing a perfect carrying handle that is original tells it all. The leather and the backing it is attached to is strong. There is not a stitch missing in the sewing of the case, closing snaps work fine, and the leather backing has kept its strength and still forms a perfect case for the radio. The tan/ecru cowhide has a beautiful aged finish with only a couple ... moreof scuffs that can be seen in the photos. I believe the power cord is original but looks like a brand new one- it's in such good shape. Regretfully the Off/On Volume Dial is missing on the left side of the radio. Over the years. The inside leather case and the backing has picked up a musty smell. A bid on this 1955 Philco tube radio is for the marvelous Cow Leather case that protects the tubed chassis which can be restored.

This is a pet and smoke free house This is surplus from a local volunteer fire department. I was assured it was in working order when taken out of service in 2007. The batteries are dead. And I do not have a recharger. This has a removable battery pack(see photos) Although I am confident it still works, since I have no way of testing it, it is being sold as is. When you get it re-certified, 0I am sure it will test OK. Made by Medical Research Laboratories. Model 450SL. This measures about 12.5 inches ... morewide, 9.5 inches deep and stands about 14.5 inches tall not counting the handle. The case is aluminum. This defib unit features a removable ECG unit with it's own internal battery. The unit is encased in an aluminum outer case and weighs 34 lbs. This comes with 2 ECG cables. The small round paddles shown, 3 unopened packets of ECG electrodes, and a tube of conductivity gel. There is also a thick black plastic storage pouch that velcros on the side. The battery pack is clean. The unit has a few scuffs to the outside case, but overall, in excellent cosmetic condition. The tag on the top reads 2006. When it was last charged. Be sure to study the photos closely. You get only what is shown. Manual is not included. This is very heavy. 1948 Stewart Warner A61P3 Portable Leatherette AC/DC Radio
This is a Stewart Warner AC/DC portable radio model A61P1 from 1948. The case has some scuffs on it but the leatherette is not torn. Nice dial plate. It does light up and play but there is a background hum so I would expect some capacitors will need replaced. Decent old radio that needs a little TLC.
