This auction includes: Shoulder Strap, 12 ft Gas Hose/Coupler and Inert Gas Regulator/Flowmeter, 10 ft Cable with Work Clamp and Quick Connect Plug, 12ft TIG Torch with Valve and Quick Connect Plug, 13ft Cable with Electode Holder and Quick Connect Plug, I tried to test this unit. I plugged it in and it didn't turn on. I don't know if this will be an easy or hard fix. I don't have the time to figure out what is wrong with it. Took a look inside and nothing was burned. All it takes is a $2 part on the circuit board to be bad for a unit like this to not work. Up for sale is my Miller Maxstar 140 STICK/TIG welder. It is my money maker and is super portable. Its a Miller. Enough said on quality and performance. I am the second owner(first used it in his garage door repair service, always kept it inside, never dropped) and am selling it because I bought a different welder for welding roll cages. This welder will weld from 5 to 140 amps and will run on a standard 115v or 230v outlet(it automatically senses the voltage, I have a plug adapter, see pics) It is based on newer inverter technology so it uses less power, and has a smoother feel to the welds. SMAW(STICK WELDING) will burn 1/8 rod all day long. Have welded BBQ's. Bumpers, tow hitches, and trailers with it on stick mode. Best for rusty/dirty metal/outdoors. Ground in( Electrode holder in(+) flip switch to stick mode. GTAW(TIG Welding) just ... moreflip a switch to lift-arc. And put the Electrode holder in( and the ground in(+) then connect the electrode holder to the tig torch adapter and you are ready to TIG weld, which is my favorite. All you do is, turn the argon valve on the torch, then touch the tungsten of the tig torch to the metal and lift up a little, and the welder will automatically start the arc(Lift-Arc) I have welded stainless steel sinks, kegs, fabricated brush guards, fixed cracked exhaust manifolds, wrought iron benches, installed turbo waste gates, and fixed up go karts with TIG welding. As you get the puddle going, you add filler rod as you go along and the weld looks like a stack of dimes! Selling a Miller Maxstar 140STR welder. This is an incredible little powerpack of a machine. It will output up to 140 Amps for Tig or Arc welding. It can auto switch between 110/120V and 220/240V single phase electric. Just use the included adapter to plug into either outlet. It is an inverter machine, so the arc is super sooth and stable, just listen to it in the attached video. Also, it weighs just 11 lbs. With all the leads and the regulator, the entire case weighs 28lbs. Of course it is backed by the legendary Miller name. I fired it up today and recorded the video below. This is an awesome little TIG/Stick welder. I have used this for a few year going field welding. It is great for the times when you want to weld without making sparks(in TIG operation) Gas supply hose has a leak. It has been that way since the torch was new; I just keep the cylinder shut off when I am not welding. I might be a good idea to replace the hose(super cheap fix)
