This machine welds and welds ... morevery well! I have it wired to run on 220V single phase power and tested it that way. But it will run on either 220V or 260V single phase. All you have to do is swap one lead between the transformer primary side to the main power switch and insulate the one you don't use. Parts are readily available from Lincoln and others. Many users even restore theirs. Despite their age, these are still popular the world over with professionals and tinkerers alike. Out of four of these machines, it is a duplicate of this one I am keeping for my own shop for when things get serious. See my other auction for an AC only machine) This is your chance to own a fine piece of American made machinery from when we built things to last a hundred years. This is a copper. Steel and iron machine. No wimpy circuits boards to burn up. It is all transformer and rotary switch. That's it! Little to go wrong. Like I said, I tested it and it welds very well, but like any old machinery, it is sold as is. Also, this is very heavy, so it is a local sale ONLY. We are located outside of Cleveland, TX in the Romayor area. We can load it on your truck or I might deliver for the IRS rate of $ 0.56 per mile if you are within 80 miles of Cleveland, TX to the Houston, TX area, but only if the PayPal funds for machine purchase have already hit my account and cash payment for the delivery fee is rendered before the machine comes off of my truck. I am selling this Lincoln Idealarc 250 AC/DC welder. This is the famously bulletproof"Tombstone" welding machine. This machine welds and welds very well! I have it wired to run on 220V single phase power and tested it that way. But it will run on either 220V or 260V single phase. All you have to do is swap one lead between the transformer primary side to the main power switch and insulate the one you don't use. Parts are readily available from Lincoln and others. Many users even restore theirs. Despite their age, these are still popular the world over with professionals and tinkerers alike. Out of four of these machines, it is a duplicate of this one I am keeping for my own shop for when things get serious.
