Many other adjustable settings, these are just an example. This is everything you need to get started welding aside from a tank of argon: ESAB HeliArc 160i DC TIG(and stick) welder. Barely used- Made in Sweden. If you know welders, you know ESAB makes some of the highest-quality machines on the market. I purchased this in 2005 as an unused, new-old-stock power supply only with no accessories(for just shy of $1000) then built a nice package around it with the cables, torch, spares, etc. I would estimate this machine only has 4-5 hours of use. I used it to practice on ... moremild steel and stainless, then used it to build a custom stainless exhaust system for a race car. This is a top-notch machine. And VERY easy to use as a beginner machine; cheap machines have poor amperage control, and the amperage control on this machine is fantastic all the way down to very low amps. It has a nice, programmable ramp-up and ramp-down for starting and stopping. If you want to learn TIG, don't start on a cheap machine! Even buying a new cheap machine + extras, you would still be over the cost of this machine. Also includes several hundred dollars of extras(forgive me if my terminology is not perfect. It has been a while since I purchased all of this) Argon flowmeter regulator with hose. Can also be used with argon mix- Several spare tungsten electrodes in two sizes and electrode holder- Spare shielding gas orifice- Spare shielding gas tip to match spare orifice- High quality. I don't really wanna sell this. But I must. This welder is a really nice portable machine, the only inverter I've had that'll truly burn 6010 rod. I've included pics of it in action. Along with pics of several different electrodes that it ran. That one pic with the really nice sheet of slag is 1/8" 7018@ about 115 amps, the other pic without the rod is 3/32" 6010@ 55-60 amps. This is NOT new. So don't expect as much. It has bumps bruises and scratches. When the amps are set too low, it chirps like a loose belt. Works good on 110v and 220v, with 220v burning a little hotter regardless of the setting. Google for the specs and reviews, no comparison to a chicom machine such as Longevity or Everlast. ESAB / AIRCO PULSE ARC II 400 Welder 400 Amp
I have a fully functional Airco. Esab Pulse arc II 400 Welding power supply with wire feeder and torch. The welder is a 3 Phase unit with taps for 208-575 and it has the power factor correcting capacitors installed. This power source is an amazing unit with over 350A continuous output in both CV and CC modes. I have seen 450A from this unit but at a slightly reduced duty cycle. As this is a multi process power source. You can do almost anything with it with the correct accessories. I have done lift arc tigging with it and it works well. The power source has multiple connection points and can(was when I bought it) be integrated in a robot cell. I have used this unit attached to a VFD so I can use it on 220V Single Phase. It works perfectly! If the winning bidder is interested in purchasing the Inverter. I will arrange that after the auction. ... moreI will adjust the taps on the transformer per the buyers request. It is currently tapped for 208. I am selling the power source. A steel caster plate, and Wire Feeder Unit only. The wire feeder includes the torch attached to it and a gas regulator. The cutting torch model number is st901fc with a 2-1-101 victor tip! I have no way of testing it. But items seem undamaged, solid with no missing parts. Sold as is.
