Mallory 2000uf 200v Electrolytic Capacitors removed from Phase Linear 400 II Amp
This listing is a pair of Mallory Electrolytic Capacitors 2000mfd 200v removed from a Phase Linear 400 II Power Amplifier. These caps look to be in excellent condition. Apparently they were installed as replacements in this amplifier. I charged them together to 190 volts over several minutes ramping up the voltage slowly. I held the charge at 190 volts for several days. Then I measured for leakage current. There was no leakage current. These capacitors may have never been charged to their max voltage. The Phase Linear 400 II charges these caps only up to 85 volts max. This could be why they show no sign of leakage to this day. Included is the KBPC 3502 Diode Bridge Rectifier also removed from this amplifier. Sold as-is. Thanks for looking.

Bass Amp & Cabinet. Peavey 400 Mark III Series & Kustom 1x15" Cabinet. Full Rig.
It's a complete working bass rig. Amplifier and cabinet. The amp is a Peavey 400 Mark III Series. The cabinet is a Kustom with a 1x15" speaker. It rocks and is quite loud and clear. I've got a couple 1/4" cables to throw in with it. The cabinet is on four wheels for easy transport. The original owner was a professional bass player named Clinton"Thunderthumbs" Mitchell. Jr. from Bellefontaine, Ohio. He played in several bands that toured heavily in the 1980s, in the southeastern USA. One of his bands was called Flip City. At least once, they played on TV. I saw a video of the show. Thunderthumbs was playing bass and singing lead on their cover of Culture Clubs"Miss Me Blind. The whole band looked super 1980s with big hair and fluorescent colored clothes. Thunderthumbs was wearing a black leather vest shirt ... moreand was rocking some lovely Jheri curls. It's local pickup only. I'm in Yellow Springs, Ohio, which is in southwest Ohio, within an hour of Columbus, Ohio; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Dayton, Ohio. It's less than two hours east of Indianapolis, Indiana. Everything works in this rig. There is wear on the tolex, with various scrapes and scratches, but the wear isn't too bad.
