This is a 1998 SA 250 Pipeliner with a Perkins D3.152 Diesel Engine power Source. It is 100% duty cycle at 200 amps and 60% duty cycle at 250 amps. It starts and runs great and has no problems whatsoever. It does not use much fuel and welds great. I have three and do not need it any longer as I am downsizing. The trailer we fabricated ourselves. it is titled and I have title. It has torflex axles. So no need to worry about springs. The lights all work and it has a pintle hitch so as to not worry about others wanting to borrow it. The cables do not go with the welder unless you want to buy them also at an additional price. Lincoln SA-250-D3.152 DC Arc Welder Feel free to ask questions via email or(540)381-3011 For sale is this used Lincoln SA-250-D3.152 DC Arc Welder. The welder is used and a bit older. But without any major damage. Has the normal bit of rust and wear for a welder of this age. Quite a bit of the paint has flaked off. There is some rust under where the battery goes. Though it is still structurally intact. The tires are both in good shape and I didn't see any cracks in the sidewall. Does not include a title for the trailer. The trailer uses a 2" ball. See photos below for more details on physical condition. We charged the included battery and the welder started right up within a second or two of cranking(50F outside) The engine sounded good and ran well. We let it run for awhile until up to about 150F on the temperature gauge. The oil ... morepressure gauge always showed max. pressure. So not sure if there is a problem with it or not. The welder does leak some oil. Seems to be coming from the oil pan. We have tried the two 115V A/C type outlets and they both power equipment just fine, each was 120V at 57Hz(a little low, but speed could be increased a bit) The 240V outlets also output fine at 240V and 57Hz. We connected up welding leads(not included) and were able to weld fine with the unit. The auto idle feature works well and idles down after not being used for 15 seconds and then goes to high idle when in use. We are located in Christiansburg. VA 24073. From what I can tell this welder is overall in good working order. We have included the video below of the welder in operation. Great working Mig welder. Currently set up for.035 but will also run.045. Welder comes with everything needed to weld except the gas cylinder and spool of wire. The additional side spool to coil the hoses will be removed for before shipping. This machine is the older version of the current model 255. It is a shop grade welder with a good Tweco nozzle(model unknown) The machine was well cared for with very few dents in the cabinet. i am selling my Lincoln sa-250 welder. it comes with the cart it sits on. could easily be made to tow behind your truck. but it is a 3 wheeled cart that has a handle you can drag it around with. also has racks to hold your welding leads. i bought this sight unseen from a kinder morgan auction a week ago. it is WAY bigger then my needs. it does not run. i have not messed with it to figure it out. It seems to be a flat head 4cyl motor. I tried hooking a battery up and it would not crank. the battery cables look shot. Also the connection where the fuel line meets the fuel tank has broken off. if you have any questions please let me know.
