Green Lantern 29 (vol 1) 1964. First app of Black Hand.
You are bidding on a copy of Green Lantern#29 from 1964 featuring the first appearance of Black Hand. I've taken a number of photos to detail the good& bad about the books condition. There's a small 1/2" crease on front bottom right cover. A few stress marks over Black Hand's face& shoulder probably from someone's reading. It has intact spine& staples with some spine stress in the middle and a couple stress marks toward the bottom left corner. It is flat and glossy otherwise. The back has 2 creases on the left bottom as pictured one 3.5" one 2" It has a couple spine stress marks at the middle. One That said: this is a cool book in decent shape for being nearly 50 years old! Historic for the first appearance of the central character of Blackest Night- BLACK HAND! Batman#232- 1971 Neal Adams art 1st app Ra's al Ghul there book is in VG/VG- condition. spine has numerous creases. Bottom spine has a 1.5 inch split, page 1 behind same spot has a 1/4 inch split at spine. there are several tears along covers edge(lower right corner, see pic) cover is nicely attached. no rust on staples. pages are light tan to tan in color. book is complete. back cover has a small 1/8th by 1/8th inch piece missing.
