OMT 16'' Rotary Table
OMT Rotary Table made by Optical Measuring Tools in England(Now RPI UK) This table was made in the 50's-60's. It was one of the most accurate tables made in its day. It features a 16' table which turns freely and has no drill marks. The optics work as shown in the photo. There are also four threaded holes surrounding the outside of the table which appear to allow for table feed. They were covered with tape. One of those is featured in the photo. They purchased it new from Zygmunt& Associates in Illinois. It includes 50 CDs. Paperwork and manual, and the rare remote control system. Below is a video of the machine in action: This machine plays 100 CDs and basically 1000-2000 selections depending on the CD. This model is a reproduction of the original 1015. And is considered one of the most collectible 1940s jukeboxes produced and designed by Paul Fuller. His creations that include the 500, 600, 700, 750, 780, 800, 850, 950, 1015, and 1100 models. HI! I am selling parts that I do not need to a Wurlitzer OMT that I am restoring. This is the Bill Validator. Cash box, mounting hardware, key and Wurlitzer Face plate for the bill insertion slot, and cables. The OMT is from a local restaurant and it was set to free play so the equipment was never or seldom used. I tested it prior to removal with a U.S. $1bill and it worked fine. The juke box was circa 1999 not sure of the validator chip level(Which U.S. Currency release date is validated) I will accept returns if problem found with unit with buyer paying return postage.

I bought this from the family of the original owner. This rare machine is one of the very first Deutche Wurlitzer 1015 OMT reproductions and is called"The Blinker" as it does not have bubble tubes. In their place the machine has lamp strips and a controller that can be configured to flash to the music or sequence similar to a movie marquee. This was presumably done to make the machine more durable in a commercial environment where fragile bubble tubes would meet their demise. The mechanism plays your choice of 50 records. Meaning a total of 100 selections in high fidelity living stereo. In my many years of collecting/restoring/selling amusement machines ... moreI have never seen another machine like this. The construction and materials are heavier than current contemporary jukeboxes. Meaning Wurlitzer likely worked on ways of economizing during the OMT production run. Features of this machine include: all exterior plastics are original and undamaged. They are thicker and appear to be made of plexi rather than polycarbonite on more contemporary machines. The mirrored tiles on the side of the cabinet have borders unlike contemporary machines as can be seen in the photos. The ornamental castings are cast nylon rather than the hollow thin plastic shells and are painted gold rather than chrome plate over plastic. the speaker grille cover. Has a gold toned plating, as can be see in the pictures. the color cylinders have metal frames and the colored gels themselves are surrounded in clear PVC tubes(the later versions use cheap black plastic and the colored gels support the caps which rotate against the ends of the fluorescent tubes) the color cylinder drive mechanisms have been freshly overhauled and the drive tires replaced. the machine has the optional 70V transformer for operating with commercial speaker installations In addition. These were used in airplanes/aircraft like the Italian Air Force Savoia Marchetti sometimes know as a Radio Operators clock. Front says E. Boselli Milano OMT ROMA. There is a lever on the side that you pull down if you want to set the time and you pull it back up to wind it going counter clockwise. There is a set screw on the side if you wish to take off the crystal/Face and clean it but I did not wish to mess with it as it is a piece of history just as it is. And it is a wonderful piece.
