For sale is my very nice wide angle lens for the Rolleiflex TLR camera. It changes the focal length to.7x the original setting. I used this lens to great effect on my 2.8gx. And it made amazing pictures. It is a fact that the auxiliary lens will only perform well if attached to a fine original optic, and that's what Rolleiflex's have. Now, while this lens has no fungus, no haze, it does have very fine cleaning marks on the front and rear but not many and not enough to effect the results whatsoever. Some lenses do have enough to effect the result, many can be like a haze on the lens, not this one. The real killer of pictures with a lens like this is interior haze, it lowers contrast, this lens is crystal clear. So, the only thing the cleaning marks do is to lower the price. Once in awhile you try a lens out for the first time and it makes you go"HMMM! I adapted this to my Olympus E-P2 just out of curiousity and took some shots of my laptop screen. What an undiscovered gem these little shorties are! I predict that this lens is selling in the $60-65 range by the end of the year. There is a glut of them now. But once the word gets out about how razor sharp they are it will be a seller's market. This ultra-compact and moderately fast Minolta MD 45mm f2 Rokkor-X lens is particularly well-suited to adapting for use on Sony Nex and micro4/3 mirrorless cameras. The scale of the package fits the design concept of the ILCs. It has a considerably quicker maximum aperture than any of the kit lenses that are available for these cameras, and therefore will have superior low-light performance. The other day I was ... morewalking around Virginia Lake with my Pen E-P2 testing out a Konica, a couple of SuperTaks, and this lens. It was slightly overcast and getting darker by the hour. I shot this lens, adapted for the micro4/3, on: Aperture Priority@f8; White Balance set to Auto; ISO 100; and the Aperture Priority mode set the shutter speeds from 1/30th to 1/250th of a second. I have uploaded images#5 thru#8 straight from the SD card to eBay, without any tweeking whatsoever. This optic is very sharp and has good contrast, and adapts to a mirrorless as if it was originally designed for it. Adapters for NEX, 4/3, and micro4/3 are inexpensive and readily available on eBay, generally from Chinese manufacturers, although Fotodiox makes nice quality US made examples. The Interchangeable Lens Camera movement has breathed life into several abandoned lens series. Such as the SR and OM. It is a compact zoom lens even at today's standard. The front accessory ring is only 52 mm diameter. The lens focus down as close to 4 ft/1.2 m and that is 1:4 macro ration without any special macro switch. Special: A"true" Macro zoom lens. Please note that this lens is a macro lens also. It focuses down to 1.2 m(4 ft) for the whole zoom range even at 205mm and naturely achieves 1:4 ratio at 205mm. So this is a true whole range macro zoom lens. In macro photo. It is more convienient than most AF lens. Tips: Zoom macro vs. Fix macro The fix macro lenses are sharp. But not convenient. It is always hard to get both the right size and good focus together. The difference from brand to brand is how well the other aspects are controlled. for instance, the coating and inside finishing cause flare, the structure loose cause focus problems. That is why I repeatly showing this lens is good quality made since this is where it outstand from other lenses. Even later OEM 135mm f2.8 lens use plastic apreture and lable rings. They claim they used"good plastic" but this lens is using"good metal" Handling this lens is very smooth and easy to focus. It is very nicely made. All metal and robust. Its size mathes the SRT nad XE series very well although as a 135/2.8 lens, it is still compact. You may bring it to the zoo or hiking. 135mm is mostly referred as portrait lens, but 135/2 or 2.5 will be better for its smaller depth of field. 135mm f2.8, with its smaller size, will perform excellently in animals and mountains( believe it or not, in most hiking a lens between 50-135mm will be much more frequently used than a wide angle.
