Owner and guide Brian O'Connor has been fishing Montana's rivers for over 20 years. He has extensive experience fishing the Missouri, Yellowstone, Stillwater, and Big Hole rivers. ... moreHis experience includes all skill levels from first time fishermen, to experts and provides guided instruction that helps all skill levels improve their game while having a great time.

“I have been fortunate enough in my twenty years of guiding to study and learn many rivers of Montana so that when one river is not fishing well, it's never a problem to move to another. In today's fishing world, you must be diverse enough to provide not only an expert guiding service but also professional casting instruction. This results in our clients, enjoys the best possible fly-fishing adventure regardless of experience.”

I'm mostly a bamboo and fiberglass guy, meaning I like rods that bend easily. I think concerns about weight are way overblown, so as a result, modern, high-quality (and high-priced) ... moregraphite isn't much in evidence in my rod closet.

Brian O'Connor, just don't come no better!!
I have fished all over the Southeast US, California, Idaho, Wyoming, Florida Keys, Honduras, Panama and Ecuador. Brian is he hardest working guide with whom I have fished. There were eight of us in a group fishing the Big Hole. My fishing partner and I each caught more fish on a single day with Brian than the other six caught over three days. Brian knows this water, knows where the fish are going ... more to be and what they patterns they will take. We changed fly types several times over the day to match the fish and conditions all on Brian's knowledge. He often would exit the raft and wade to locate the fish in the runs then direct us on how to fish them. Never have had a more hardworking guide than Brian.
