Barely used- Made in Sweden. If you know welders, you know ESAB makes some of the highest-quality machines on the market. I purchased this in 2005 as an unused, new-old-stock power supply only with no accessories(for just shy of $1000) then built a nice package around it with the cables, torch, spares, etc. I would estimate this machine only has 4-5 hours of use. I used it to practice on ... moremild steel and stainless, then used it to build a custom stainless exhaust system for a race car. This is a top-notch machine. And VERY easy to use as a beginner machine; cheap machines have poor amperage control, and the amperage control on this machine is fantastic all the way down to very low amps. Miller TIG welder pedal, thumb adjuster, torch and electrodes
This is a group sell. I will not sell items individually. These parts came from my miller maxstar welder, and i know that they do work, no leaks or cracks. I have the guage for the gas with all of the connections including the pedal, weldcraft torch, etc. There is indeed some use related wear, but it does not effect the function at all. Thermal Arc DC TIG Starter 120 Volt Single Phase + TIG Torch + Electrodes
Thermal Arc DC TIG Starter. This is not a welder. You must have a stick welder(we use a POWCON 300) to have a complete TIG system. This unit will not control the amperage of your welder(we used a foot pedal interfaced to our POWCON) This is a very heavy duty unit. It will control the gas flow for pre- and post- welding flow. Gas flow can be started automatically before the unit starts the high voltage spark to begin the welding process and also can flow gas after welding has ended. We did not use the auto gas feature. We controlled gas using the gas adjustment on the TIG torch. We wired a small contact(see picture) that we placed in our welding station so that it could be operated by the welder's knee. Once the welding process starts. The knee contact can be released. The electrode from your welder will connect to the pigtail on the back ... moreof the starter. Welder ground connects to your work. The ground lead from the starter is for the high voltage spark. The TIG torch. Gas hoods, and pure and thoriated electrodes are included
