This is a Vintage Large 3" Mid Century Modernist Copper Enamel Pendant Necklace. The pendant has a beautiful multi-color abstract design on a subtle blue-gold background. The back is also enameled with a gold flecked enamel as well. The pendant is 3" tall. The straight line measure across the chord of the arc at the bottom is 2 1/4" The chain is 24" long and it is may not be original to the piece(see Condition section) This lovely large pendant would be a wonderful addition to your Mid Century jewelry collection! Condition: Pendant The pendant is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks in the enamel. Nor any other issues to be noted. The base metal chain is in very good condition and the clasp is in good working order. Please note. Vintage Fat Lava West German Mid Century Modern Vase Pastels
Pleasing combination of rich. Soft pastel colors on a fat lava West German vase. The only noticeable sign of use I can find is the small amount of mineral deposits inside the vase from water evaporation. Please see the last pic for a closeup of the small glaze flake that sticks out from the bottom on one side. The vase is 11 inches tall by 3.5 wide at bottom and 2.5 wide at the top. Vintage Mid Century Modern Replogle Globe Light Wood Base Retro
You are bidding on a very nice mid century Replogle Globe Light in good working condition. Great for an office. Den or student room! The stand is made of dark wood and has letter/book magazine holder on the side. The hardware that holds the globe is aluminum. I could not find any dates on it but based on the map it is late 40's early to mid 50's. Cord has a switch built in to turn light off and on. The globe is covered in paper. I love the design and the way the cufflinks are made. They are very solid. The fronts are beautifully crafted and have incised vertical linear design with vertical"bars" that are textured and gold vermiel. They are in their original hinged cufflink presentation box. They are heavy and the weight is 19.6 grams on a jewelers scale that the estate company had. They measure: 11/16" by.5" in by 1/8" thick. A great vintage metal Therm-a-Chest cooler made by Knapp Monarch back in the 1950's in St. Louis. It is in excellent condition. NO RUST, the inside is very clean and it even has the original lift out tray and original can/bottle opener. The metal arm swings up to lock the lid in place and keep it closed. The side drain has the original plug and is in great working condition and the plug fits tightly. There are minor paint scuffs on the outside but still excellent shape. This is a tissue holder from the 1950's in excellent condition. It may be mounted on the wall or sit flat. This was an estate sale find. The home was an upscale Mid Century Modern home. On each side of the master bed were these tissue boxes(sale is for one but I have two) hung on the wall near the bed. Still there after all these years. The tissue box is in excellent condition with minimal light scratches. It looks very nice and may be used anywhere, hung or sitting. The lucite box measures 11 1/2" long, 5 3/4" wide and 2 1/2" tall. The end slips off to insert the tissues. If you have questions, please feel free to ask. If you win the bid and are interested in both boxes. I'm not sure of the exact age of these and they look a bit newer than the mid century ones. They are stackable and each one measures 29 1/2 inches tall. 13 inches in diameter across the tops. Mid Century Deco Vintage zinc yard-art flamingos RARE AS A PAIR!!
Handsome couple from the 40's or 50's. Low miles. But legs were allegedly lost in long flight over the everglades in 1956. =) Heavy, as would be expected of metal(zinc? no rust) metal. If you look closely you can see that, once mounted on legs(yours@ 3/8" rods x 4) one of the darling's head is up, the other is down. We call them Grandpa and Grandma, and they belong in your front yard. One could certainly leave them in Pepto pink, but we have seen what appeared to be original era photos and the 2 were done in cream, with black beaks.your call. Vintage 1960's divided crystal glass serving dish with a sterling silver base. Measures 8 1/2" long. 6" wide and 3" high, the"swoosh" shape of the glass dish reminds me a little of a calla lily. The base is stamped STERLING but is not marked with a maker's name. A nice bar piece for olives and cherries or lemons and limes, or great to keep your plain and peanut M&Ms separated. The glass is very crystalline and the flowing shape really reflects light nicely- it is a graceful shape. No chips or cracks in the glass but a couple of very faint scratch marks that might have been made by a fork. The sterling base needs a bit more polsihing and has a few faint scratches. Vintage Mid Century Modern Double Swag Lamp Up for auction is this gorgeous. Vintage twin double chain hanging swag lamp/light with cut glass shades in the shape of pine cones. This is a hard-wire fixture. Both chains with glass shades are the same length. These hang 61" from the ceiling. Shades measures 9½“ long from the top to the bottom finial and have a 4½“ diameter. With a 4" fitter. These were obtained at an estate sale and were working. Overall. These lamps are in good vintage condition. The glass shades have a few chips on the opening but they are not noticeable once on the end caps. Theres also some paint on the ceiling canopy that can be easily removed. The beautiful lucite grapes are attached to a perforated metal cone on the inside.the shape truly depicts hanging grapes on the vine.
