Unknown if the microphone is working or not. Looks really. Really clean and nice. This was the kind of microphone you would see on any US military airbase or a more permanent base headquarters. Plastic covering on cord has some cracks due to age. Has pl-68 plug. Wiring is still intact. Most items I sell are previous owned items that I have purchased from an auction or an estate sale. 8x10 black& white glossy photograph. I don't know the date this was taken. Bottom right hand corner has a raised Signal Corps U.S. Army. Bottom left corner says B-541/ Photo shows several cannons or artillery guns? A tent/lean to with 4 men inside, and a 5th man sitting holding a rifle with a bayonet attached. I could be quite wrong. In fact I would be surprised if I were not wrong, about any and all of the terminology. Photo is in overall good condition. Some folds in the corners. But no major rips, tears, or huge problems.

Cast into the cover of this key is: flame proof key. Type J-7-A, date 1921. Order no. 141082, mfg. by L.S. Brach Mfg. Co. Newark, N.J. These early and scarce J type keys were used in aircraft during and after World War I. These J-7-A Army Signal Corps keys have a"winker light" on the 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" phenolic base. The light. Which is connected in parallel with the key contacts, provides feedback to the operator in the noisy environment. In some applications two keys were attached to the radio; the winker allowed the observer to see what the pilot was transmitting. The hood is removable. When found the bulb is usually missing; any D.C. bayonet base ... morebulb may be used for display purposes. This J-7-A was made by L.S. Brach and has an order date of 1921. It is complete(except for the bulb) and original as shown in the photos. Decades of storage have resulted in the lever being hard to move; penetrating oil may loosen it up. However it does work as tested on my oscillator. This is in very nice cosmetic condition. Possibly NOS unused, with slight scuffing on the side of the key housing and lever. Rare Original WWII US Army Signal Corps M-94 Cipher Cryptographic Device CRYPTO Offered here is a rare original US ARMY M-94 CIPHER WHEEL– out of a Pennsylvania estate. The M-94 was a piece of cryptographic equipment used by the United States Army. Consisting of several lettered discs arranged on a cylinder. The idea for the device was conceived by Colonel Parker Hitt and then developed by Major Joseph Mauborgne in 1917. Officially adopted in 1922, it remained in use until 1945, replaced by more complex and secure electro mechanical rotor machines, particularly the M-209. The M-94 was also employed by the US NAVY under the name CSP 488. The device consisted of 25 aluminum discs attached to a four-and-a-half inch long rod, each disc containing the 26 letters of the Roman alphabet in scrambled order around it’s circumference(with the exception ... moreof the 17th disc, which began with the letters"ARMY OF THE US" Each wheel had a different arrangement of the alphabet, and was stamped with an identifying number and letter; wheels were identified according to the letter following"A" on that wheel, from"B 1" to"Z 25" The wheels could be assembled on the rod in any order; the ordering used during encoding comprised the key. WWII ARMY ISSUE TL 29 SIGNAL CORPS POCKET KNIFE
This is a World War II period. United States Army issue pocket knife. It is also known as the Army Electrician or Signal Corps pocket knife. It has two blades that are in very good condition. It has a large blade and a locking screwdriver. There is a standard branch of service marking on a small silver escutcheon that is inlaid in the wood grip on one side. The plate is stamped with TL 29. The pocket knife is solid and complete with no damage other than average wear and tear. This folding knife is identical to the ones pictured on page 83 of Pocket Knives of the United States Military by Michael W. Silvey. I have scanned that page and included it here for your convenience. There are no maker marks. On the ricasso on the large blade it is stamped CAMILLUS CUTLERY CO. Enamel painted silver bracelet with the US Army Signal Corps emblem affixed and 48-star US flag engraved. Telltale design cues tying it to this era and location include the etching around all elements, the lettering, clasp, anchor links, and SILVER stamp on the reverse. I am unsure what the elements at the lower left are. Though my personal theory is that the one to the right of the staff signifies the rank of private. To the left might be a stylized hat to go with it. Hails from a large estate that included tons of militaria and VFW pieces; this one was thankfully overlooked. Condition: We tested the HS- 30- headset/phones and determined that they work very well. One set has excellent cables with no problems except for the coil and fold'sets' from storage. The other HS-30 has good cables from the impedence junction box. However, the connector end could use a better cable. The PL-55 connectors are very good. The mics have excellent, pliable cables however.we don't know how to test the mics as they are sealed. Any suggestions are welcome All componants look really good for the age. This design was adopted on June 14, 1881 and replaced on July 13, 1885. Also included is a pair of Side Buttons for the Helmet. The crossed flags measure approximately 3/4" high; hollow die struck with fastening wires on the reverse. There is a yellowish area on the flag on the right side. The buttons measure approximately 1" in diameter. The buttons are tarnished with wear to the high points; there are brownish areas around the flags and edge. The brownish is not corrosion as the metal is not iron based, but I do not know if they will clean off. These are hard to find. This is the only set that I have ever owned. US Army Signal Corps Morse Code Training Kit AN/GSC-T1~Ca.WWII w/Ten Keys Offered is a U.S. Army Signal Corps Morse Code Training Kit. Model: AN/GSC-T1. Circa World War II/Korean Era, 1940s-50s. Made by McElroy Mfg Co. This is an estate find and is being sold in AS-IS condition, and is untested. The set is heavy, weighing 50 lb. unpacked. The ten J-37 hand keys, which are being held in slots within the box top, appear unused judging by the way the wiring is wrapped, used sparingly as most. The boxes' metal strapping around the bottom of the wooden case shows some surface corrosion, and some of screw heads inside the the unit's interface have some surface rust. The wooden case is in good condition, handles strong and hinge on the box top undamaged. Shipping is for USPS parcel post. The seller claimed his grandfather used them on a B-17 in WWII, he said all the crew members were connected to the radio so they could communicate. I can’t verify this. So I have to accept it unless somebody knows something else. Bakelite? or resin ear phones with“Receiver R-14. Made by Radio Speakers Inc for, Signal Corps U.S. Army” in raised letters. Leather covering over 2 metal headbands. HB-7 stamped on steel plates between the headbands and the ear phones. There is a large audio plug. The wires are frayed and have been taped in a couple places. This vintage aviation headset is NOT tested and being sold as is. As a military aviation collectible.
