WW2 US Army Issue TL-29 Signal Corps Utility Knife Utica Cutlery Rosewood
This pocket knife is marked TL-29 on the rosewood handle indicating an Army issue to members of the Signal Corps during WW2. It was made by Utica Cutlery and features a 3" long main blade and a locking screwdriver blade. The knife in general and the blades in particular are in good condition. WWII ROBESON 222030 Army Signal Corps 2 Blade Electrician's Folding Knife
Offered here is a rare ROBESON 222030 TL-29 lineman's/electrician's two blade folding knife. Of all the TL-29's produced before and during WWII the fewest produced were by ROBESON. The closed length is 3 1/2" and the main blade is 2 5/8" Main blade tang is stamped ROBESON(in an arch) USA Cutlery. This is one of the tang stamps used by ROBESON until 1939 so this is an old one. The reverse side is stamped 222030. Both blades have been sharpened and used and show the expected age tarnish. Blade snap on both blades is just excellent. The handles are wood and are tight. They show some use marks. The bolsters are tight and in good condition. On the backside there is a slight separation near the rear between the frame and liner. There is also a slight bend in the brass liner separating the two blades. But none of these conditions ... moreaffect the operation of the blades, as stated the snap is excellent. Maybe an easy fix and the covers are available on ebay for buy it now $20. Antenna extends the full length with zero issues. Also note that I am listing another BC-611 here that is a GREEK Version. It uses 2"D" cells. The other compartment takes a square military battery which is hard to find. You can use an adapter available from TNM ENTERPRISES of ANAHEIM. Eveready and Radio shack have a number 415 battery which puts out 45 volts. Two of these will fit the battery compartment and when connected in series provide 90 volts which is satisfactory. However you should have a manual to operate these. Please view all pictures. As I have shown every possible angle to show condition accurately. US Army Signal Corps LS-454/U Mobile Vehicle Loud Speaker (Like LS-166/U)
For auction the famous US Army Signal Corps LS454/U Loudspeaker. Used. Made in the USA and in good condition. Cord is complete with original connector but it is time to replace the cord itself. The LS-454/U is Vietnam War vintage and was used with the AN/VRC-12 family of sets. Including vehicular versions of AN/PRC-25 and PRC-77(including their portable counterparts) with some modification to the wiring. The LS-454 can also be used with the VIC-1. 2, 4 intercom sets. The LS-454/U has a built in impedance matching transformer which can be switched out or switched in if you add a DPDT toggle switch to the case. The LS-166/U. An earlier speaker.
