1990 Ditch Witch 5010DD Trencher w/ Backhoe
Ditch Witch 5010DD trencher with backhoe attachment. Runs great. Naturally aspirated 53HP Deutz diesel engine. 4 wheel drive. 4 wheel steer. 6-way blade. This is a very tough trencher. It will dig thru soft rock and dirt with ease. Serial Number 6E1195. Weighs in around 10.000 lbs. Trencher digs approximately 5-ft deep the hoe goes deeper about 8-ft. The hoe has an 18-inch bucket. I've owned it for the last two years using it for running drain lines and conduit. A couple minor things wrong with it. A couple of the teeth are broken and the lights and gauges do not operate. Spare teeth are included. I try to keep it greased up. It really is a great machine, I just no longer need it. I can assist with shipping, please contact me first. Conventional two-wheel power steering, centerline mechanical riding trencher with backhoe. Backfill blade is 6-way. Which makes it capable of grading or backfilling on a hill or sloped surface. Teeth on trencher are shark teeth which work excellent in rock and clay but still are efficient in sand and loose soil. Sprocket is 80% or better condition which has a lot of life left in it. Steering is tight. And tires hold air well. This machine may not be the prettiest. But it is ready to work, and at an affordable price will get the job done. ery nice used Ditch Witch model HT25 trencher. I'm the second owner of this machine and it's in very good condition. I bought this unit about 5 years ago as a backup and have used it twice since on the job. New battery installed last fall and it has numerous new bearings on the chain and drive train as normal wear and tear parts were taken off this machine to supply our primary machine with working parts. The new replacement parts were then installed back on this machine. Also. The main chain boom tube had been welded when I purchased it, an the weld gave way snapping the boom in half. I rebuilt it using a solid 2" x 2" steel bar, and reattached the components. Everything on this machine works as it should.
