I have up for sale a very good condition Dunlop Fuzz Face pedal. I got it in here. And wanted to take it apart and see what components were used. I saw that they used NKT275 transistors for this pedal. I dont know if they are what was in it, or someone had swapped them along the way. The pedal works and sounds awesome. I took the PCB out and cleaned the connectors and such.

This a Large box first-run out of production Fulltone Soul Bender Fuzz pedal in excellent condition. These sound better than the newer version of this pedal which are now in a smaller box. They sound much fuller and thicker than the new ones. Inside this pedal you can see there are 3 of the highly prized NOS NKT275 germanium transistors for that Yardbirds/early Led Zeppelin sound. This is a copy of the famous Vox Tone Bender MKIII which was used extensively by Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck during the Yardbirds and Page continued to use the it in the early Zeppelin records. Fulltone Soul Bender Fuzz Original Version #606 - NKT275's; Original Owner!
Up for auction is my Fulltone Soul Bender. Original Big Box Version, which I received as a gift in early'99. As shown, this#606 pedal is in excellent original condition with no missing/damaged parts. I've hardly used it, over all these years b/c even in'98 my musical interests were changing from Hendrix to Hank. The pedal has never left the house and spent all but a few weeks of its life in the box. The circuit is in original condition and has not undergone any repairs or mods. The three NKT275's were matched by Fuller and have since become harder to source with fakes everywhere, so getting a well matched set is a tall order. I have 4 matched pairs that were removed from a some older fuzz face pedals that were either used to fix other pedals or parts sold to collectors for various fix up projects. These transistors have been well cared for and used for some boutique fuzz builds in sockets for different sounds in our studio throughout the years. They all work and all sound terrific. Analogman NKT275 Sunface, with box and goodies, Bramhall mod
Hi! This is the famous Analogman Sunface with germanium NKT 275 transistors. With the sundial bias knob AND has the Doyle Bramhall II mod, which is to say-it's to exact'67 Fuzzface specs. The newer Analogman Sunfaces have a different resistor value that rolls off the bass just a touch. It's not extreme, but apparently Doyle Bramhall II preferred the original specs, and I like his tone a lot so I ordered it special with that small change. It's not a drastic thing, it's just got a little more low end, which is more vintage-authentic. This sounds fantastic! In great shape, no signifigant scratches, dings, or nicks. There is a small amount of residue on the bottom from having velcro on it. Sounds great, I have a few of these and am just digging the silicon version a touch more these days. These are somewhat rare with the NKT ... more275 transistors! These are the high gain ones. I will do free shipping to continental US with BIN!

The same as the original Dallas Rangemaster. UP is a fuller-frequency mid range boost(MID setting) Down is a LOW range, also quite a full frequency sound. Optionally we can install a push/pull switch(built into the volume knob) for 2 tone selections(treble and mids) but this option is not as good so we rarely build them. The Beano Boost is spectacular into an amp that is already cranked up pretty well. It will also work well into a clean amp. But you probably need to turn the volume on the pedal up, to make the tone thicker by hitting the amp harder and making it work more. At 9:00 the Beano Boost is unity gain and may not sound very special into a clean amp. At 12:00 it starts to boost the volume and get thicker. At 3:00 it

What can I say about this pedal. It sounds amazing! Amazingly raw Rock n' Roll tone through a vintage JMP50 Marshall, addictive. The kind of tone that begs to be turned up, more, and more, spouse and small furry mammals run screaming from the house, you lose track of time. Later, sweating, you need a cigarette. Although. This one is actually from a pet free smoke free household, but you get the picture; In amazingly clean condition. Virtually as new, insane for a 10 year old pedal, maybe the earliest I've seen offered anywhere. I know selling it is a huge mistake, but we all make those sometime. The tone is inimitable, there's gobs of"distortion" pedals out there, but none like these, and this is the best of the Analogman pedals I've ever had, and I'd had them all over the years, including the Sunlion. This partial kit contains: One Reproduction original Arbiter Fuzz Face circuit board + Three essential Vintage N.O.S parts: 2x NKT-275"Red Dot" transistors• Mullard"Tropical Fish" tone capacitor I'll be offering a limited number of kits. I'm sorting through a small bunch of transistors at the moment and matching stand-out pairs as I go. The choices are made for an ideal mix of tone and gain. The Fuzz Face is a classic circuit that doesn't need much tinkering with. The remaining parts required to complete this build would be the following: four resistors(330. 1K, 8.2K, 33K) two electrolytic capacitors(20uF and 2.2uF) two jacks, two pots, a switch, a battery lead and an enclosure- all basic parts that can be sourced at your leisure.
