This is a VERY sturdy trailer made by Carry-on that I no longer need. I think it's a 2001. But can't be sure(the title is not in front of me) This is not one of those cheapy things you find at Home Depot. This is strong, steel construction! It has everything you would need in a trailer: Large rear ramp- Electric brakes(yes. They work! All steel construction(I've hauled two 600lbs motorcycles with NO issue) 7-prong electrical connection- Removable side slats- Plenty of tie-down points- Thick floor planking! Good tread on tires- The wheels are on the same rim as a Jeep Cherokee. So they are substantial and tires are not expensive to replace(around $80) It's also nice and spacious without being huge. 2009 Carmate Custom Enclosed Trailer, 6x10, Rear Ramp Door, Side Access Door
This 6x10 enclosed trailer was manufactured in 2009 by Carmate and had seen no more than 3000 miles on the road. It is shorter than the average trailer which means it can fit easily in a standard garage. Great for avoiding problems with deed restrictions in your neighborhood. The rear door is a ramp for wheeling heavy equipment inside. I did not use this to haul motorcycles so I can't say whether or not it could be used for such a purpose. I believe this is a 2006 model Cargo Craft trailer. I am the second owner. Shelves are installed in the front and on 2/3 of the left side. Also wired with 2 florescent lights and 6 110v outlets with cord coming out of the front. Rear door has a broken spring cable. The door still opens and closes easily without the second cable and it can likely be repaired easily I have just never bothered to fix it? It's a single axle trailer with tires at about 60% I have used the trailer very little and was previously used as a handyman/construction trailer. Not leaks! The front of the trailer has a gouge in the sheet metal where a 2x4 slid off the truck that was pulling it and broke through it has been sealed with silicon to prevent any leaking. Uses 2" ball. Parts! Local pickup. See photos of rusted frame rails. Unfortunately. I don't know much about trailer repair or welding. The main beams are still complete but the smaller floor joists under where the wheels of the cargo would roll are full of holes. If the trailer were mine, I would add an additional joist in between the rotted ones and use the trailer for lighter loads, maybe 1/2 its original rating, so no more than 20,000 pounds. Or cut it up for parts. The tires. Rims and axles look great. This could also function as a heavy ramp for forklifts or trucks. A portable loading dock, or even a bridge. 28'x8.5' Haulmark Edge Trailer. This trailer was a special order model and also comes with an 8' side ramp and drivers side personnel door. It also has additional height added that is approximately 1-1.5' taller than standard. They are difficult to find and hold their value more than your standard trailer with one personnel door on the side. This setup makes it easy to load toys(dirt bikes. ATVs, or other) from the side and the rear. The trailer is equipped with 14"D" rings that are conveniently placed in the front and rear for use with cars or other toys. They are mounted through steel and not just the plywood floor. The rear ramp has a very solid aluminum ramp that extends further than standard to aid in loading vehicles with low clearance. This trailer comes with 5"E" load rated tires for hauling heavy ... moreloads that all have approximately 2500 miles on them. I used this trailer to haul my 1968 Charger and most of my belongings cross country without any problems whatsoever. It will haul a huge amount. It is rated for 10,000 pounds GVRW. It has electric brakes that work as they should and all turn signals function as they should. It has interior lights but I have not tried to use them. This trailer is used. It has a few imperfections on the corners, and some stains on the floor. The wheels have some paint flaking. The tongue was also recently repainted black. The trailer is sold as shown.
