Firemen Raising Flag World Trade Center 2001 Etched 9/11
This is an etched version(I think done with laser) of the heart-warming and heroic picture of the New York Firemen raising the U.S. Flag at the World Trade Center in September 2001. Most of us have seen this picture many times since 9/11 and it is"etched" into our hearts and minds. Here. This picture has been beautifully etched into wood. The wood has a laquer coating on the front that accents the beautiful wood grain and the edges have been painted black in lieu of a frame. Fastened to the back is a piece of what appears to be plexiglass that shows through red on the front and is gray on the back. It has a fastener on the back to hang but it would also be beautiful on an easel.
