Cast Acrylic Optically Clear Rod Lexan Plexiglass Aluminum Display Mancave Bar
I built this set-up as a part of my show car display. It was only used a few times and basically looks brand new. It was never on the floor. As shown in the photo while in use, I just did that to show how it goes together. The acrylic rods are 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The following measurements are approx. but very close. 10 of the rods are 46 1/2 inches long, 1 rod is 46 3/4 inches long, 2 rods are 47 inches long and 6 rods are 47 5/8 inches long. This is just over 74 feet of total rod length. All of the rods are very clear and scratch free. I had the end caps and connectors all custom machined from billet aluminum and then polished to a mirror finish. Each connector and end cap have two threaded holes in the bottom for mounting them to whatever you like. The threaded holes are 1/4 20. There are 12 end caps(photos 7 and 8) and 12 connectors( ... morephoto 9) I have held LED lights up to the ends of the rods and they carry light very well and look really nice if a person wanted to incorporate lighting to this set-up. The piece is in beautiful condition. That's not a crack at the top of the reverse. It was just a pencil mark which has since been erased.

Man Cave Chart, Aluminum Nails Display, Useful?carpenter,Bridgewater, MA,
This is a good chart for any garage. Rec room, workshop, etc It is a chart/display of the different aluminum nails that were part of the Stronghold Line and manufactured by the Independent Nail and Packing company that was in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. This company has had a few lawsuits but they are too confusing to understand but they did sue the Stronghold Screw Company for trade mark infringement. I am not sure if these two companies later merged but if this is the original trade mark from the MA company I don't see how they lost any lawsuit but there is an explanation on line. I have no idea when this sign/chart was made but it has attached probably about a few dozen nails(about 50 nails) in metal held slots. Three are missing that might be easy to find if one has a collection of nails. The display is of a good size without being ... moreoverwhelming so it would look good almost anywhere, a wall, attached to a shelf, etc. Ask if you want exact measurements. The chart is made of hard cardboard and notice the curve in one of the photos. It has its nicks and flaws but for a man cave, shed, etc. it would look great and have a practical purpose as well. We are always looking for the right size nail, at least non-handy people like myself, besides you might have fun finding the right nails to make it complete. Offers considered but I bought it at auction so forget low balls. Nails have an interesting history and aluminum nails were in the early 1900's mostly for decorative purposes and in the 20's and 30's were used extensively in art deco pieces. They are soft but are still used in much construction except for"major structural members. The Empire State Building which was built in the 1930's ahead of schedule was the first major building that used numerous aluminum nails.

Vintage WEAR-EVER Aluminum The"IDEAL COFFEE POT" Wood Handles- For Parts Or Display Only- Patented June 10. 1902 This coffee pot measures 10 3/4" tall at the handle and is 6 3/4" across at the base x 4 3/4" across at the top. It has a 5 1/4" tall vertical wooden handle that is riveted to the body. The top handle measures 3" long and also has a center wooden section. It has a single pouring spout on the side. I had trouble finding out how this pot worked. But I found two other Ebay listings that either showed(1) The coffee making instructions or(2) Showed a photo of all parts of this unusual coffee making system. This coffee making system had an inside 7" x 3 1/8" diameter perforated cylinder. This listing is missing a second perforated smaller inside tube that fit inside the first tube noted above. ... moreCoffee grounds were poured into the space between the two tubes. You then poured boiling water(From another container) into the inside tube. The coffee was then"steeped" much like we do now for tea. This pot could also be used to make tea in the same manner. The bottom is marked"WEAR-EVER ALUMINUM- T.A.C.U. CO. Trade Mark- Made In U.S.A. PAT'D JUNE 10. 1902" I do not know how long this pot was manufactured without changes to the design. I have simply described it as vintage. Condition: This pot has surface dirt. Scratches, dents, and dings consistent with long term heavy use and storage. The side handle is off vertical(See Photos) but this appears to be a manufacturing defect of misaligned rivets rather than damage from use. The side handle has some chips and a crack on the lowest rivet section. The inside cylinder has stains from years of coffee grounds. This listing is missing the second perforated inside tube. It's supposed to look like wood and has a grain but I don't think it's all wood. It could be particle board with a thin veneer. I can see it's made of layers. The handle is hammered aluminum. When folded. This handy-dandy tray measures 7.5" x almost 12" When it's open, it's almost 12" x almost 16" It weighs 11.5 ounces. I'm not for sure what this item is. It is made of Cast Aluminum. I think it might be an Artillery Shell casing. Stands upright and makes for a nice display. It is 30 Inches Tall and the Bottom is 8 Inches Wide and the Very Bottom is 7 1/2 Inches Wide. It weighs 32 pounds. It is in Good Condition with minor to moderate wear.
