New rear tires( Nylon 13.6-38) new front tires( Harvest King 7.50-20) cylinder hanger, drop hitch, new battery, correct one piece manifold, new seat cushions, and a rebuilt water pump. The power steering works good both ways. There is no brakes or welds on the front end, or the rear drop axels. All the lights work on the tractor. Tractor runs and drives like it should. I got it back from the John Deere dealership a few weeks ago to rebuild the Mid PTO and replace gaskets. Every gasket in the mid PTO was replaced as well as in the final drive. Spent $3291.68(mostly labor. See pictures for page 4 or receipt) After I recieved it back the powering steering started to leak and I decided to just buy a new machine. If you have the know how to work on these then this is the tractor for you. THE TRACTOR: The tractor runs good as it is. There are a some things that it will need: New switch for lights. Lights work great, switch is tight though. A few light bulbs for lights- The power steering leaks. From what I understand the A determines the brackets as the 70 and 70A are exactly the same. Just different mounting setups. It comes with the mounts and bucket. It works great. All of the lights and gauges are working properly and the fuel meter has the ring around it. John Deere 70 Standard Gas, Original Paint, Power Steering
This is a late 1954 John Deere 70 standard with pto. Power steering, and hydraulics. I think it was an export to Canada because it says"Made in the USA" on the hood. The paint is nice original. The fenders are very straight. The tool box is nice. It is difficult to find originals this nice. The clutch, carb and power steering were just tuned up by a JD mechanic. He also put in new gear lube. The front tires are pretty good but the rears are weather checked with one crackling open. Starting price is very reasonable for a 70 gas standard. 1954 John Deere 70 Gas Standard SN# 7015850 Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a original 1954 John Deere 70 gas Standard. This tractor comes with both kick plates. Cylinder hanger, single hydraulics, JD step, float ride seat, and a PTO flipper guard. There are no brakes or welds on the front end. There are 2 out of 3 lights present on the tractor( not working) The tractor has manual steering. The metal is in good condition with minor dents and dings. There is a crease on the bottom right side of the grill screen( shown in photo) The tractor has a tach showing 2200 hrs(shown in photo) Both brakes work on the tractor. On the left brake you have to pull the brake back with your foot just a little to move it back to its proper location. The right brake moves back freely on its own to its proper location. 1956 John Deere 70 Diesel Standard Antique Tractor NO RESERVE Rare Rockshaft
1956 John Deere 70 Standard Diesel Tractor serial number 7036848. This tractor came froma dry western climate, the sheetmetal is solid, the hood is near perfect, grill has a few dings one of the fenders is very good the other has a dent on bottom corner, battery box is good and has one John Deere step on rear, very restorable and solid metal the fenders are not rusted on the inside by the brackets, this tractor was a pony start but has been converted to 12 volt electric start, it always fires right up, the original tach works and reads 7843 hours, oil pressure is good and high, engine does not smoke, there is a little rattle coming from valve cover but runs good, the rear rims are good and solid, rear tires are 18.4/30 at90% older tires few cracks and will last fro many years, front tires are 90% and in good condition, tractor has hyds, good ... moreworking LIVE PTO, and also comes with a RARE ROCKSHAFT so you could put a three point on it if you desire, not many of these had this option, the clutch and transmission work good, has HI/LO and it works good, the brakes do work the left works great the right works about 50% it has power steering it can be a bit sluggish, it seems to have a power steering leak, not a bad leak as it wont leave a puddle minor leak but does have a drip. This tractor starts and runs excellent, it is a pony start as all 70 standard diesels were, the pony motor runs good it fires the big motor right up and the big motor runs very good, this tractor has the rare factory ADJUSTABLE WIDE FRONT, these are hard to find and are worth thousands alone, this tractor came from a dry western climtae it is solid and no rust, the fenders are solid if you look I took a photo of the insides of fenders and you can see that they are solid with no rust, the sheetmetal is solid you may find a few small dings but it is good and in excellent original condition, would not take much to restore it or leave it lke it is hard to find like this in original condition, it has all the correct lights with rear red light not working but nice, the battery box is good and solid, ... morehas all three correct steps, original generator, cylinder hanger, PTO shield, the brakes, clutch, transmission and PTO all work very good, rear rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 18.4/30 at 50% tread one of them has some cracks the other is good, and they will last for many years, this tractor does have power steering, it does work but at times is sluggish, this tractor has been sitting in a shed for many years, not run much or at all, new fluid would probably make the steering work as should. John Deere 800/801 Series Three Point Hitch this is a original John Deere Hitch. It will fit right on the model A B G 50 60 and 70 tractors, will fit others but was made for these tractors,this hitch is complete with draft links, adjusters and the alwasy missing and hard to find center link yoke and chains that mount to the drawbar hitch. it includes the rockshaft arms as well, most of the adjuster screws are free I think two of them are tight but shouldnt take much to get them free, on three of the ball ends where it either mounts to tractor or where the implement goes on ther are welds they are hard to see but are there, these do not alter the function of the hitch and could be cleaned up and not seen if putting on a restored tractor, other than that it is complete and nice, it is hard to find a complete hitch like this. Up for auction we have a 1959 john deere 730 diesel standard pony start. Serial number 7314333. The tractor runs great. I haven't had the pony motor running. It last ran about 3 and a half years ago. So it's going to need a carb cleaning I'm sure and possibly a set of points. The big motor is a sound string runner tho and has great power. It always starts right up within the first 10 feet of pulling it. The transmission shifts as it should and the clutch snaps good and tight. The tractor has hydraulics and power steering. The radiator is full of good clean antifreeze and doesn't have any leaks. The tractor used to have a cab on it and we removed it. So there is a couple extra holes on the fenders here and there but they are just small 1/8in ones that could easily be repaired. The back fenders are in pretty good condition. ... moreThe right rear fender has some rusting towards the back of it. This could easily be repaired. The hood and the nose cone are fairly straight for the most part. The nose cone is painted with primer gray. All of the tin work would clean up nicely if you are planning on restoring it. Up for sale I have a 70 all fuel row crop. It has an original square tube wide front in good tight shape with no breaks or welds. And an 801 3point on the back. The tractor starts up from the push of the button. It's starts easy and runs great. It is a very strong running tractor. The clutch and brakes work great on it aswell. It shifts into all of the gears with ease. The steering is tight and easy going. All in all it is mechanically good. The only thing i noticed is that it needs manifold gaskets pretty bad. The bolts don't look like they're all rusted up so it shouldn't be too hard. It has the original all fuel manifold on it that is in great shape. There's no cracks or breaks on it. This is very hard to find an all fuel manifold with no cracks. The coolant system is full of good antifreeze and has no leaks. All four ... moretires hold air and have average tread. It has a set of original front rims in good not bent condition. The tin work is good and straight with just a couple little dings and would clean up nice. Up for auction I have a 1959 john deere 730 diesel standard serial number 7312904. I bought this tractor with intentions to finishing restoring it since all it needs is paint. I just can't find the time so i decided to sell it and finsih up other projects. Both motors are 100% The pony motor fires up and runs perfect. I just put all new ignition parts in it and rebuilt the carb. It idles and revs up nice and smooth and doesn't smoke. It sounds good and starts the big motor with ease. The big motor fires up as soon as you let out on the decompression lever. It sits there and runs smooth. Doesn't smoke, blow oil or anything of that sort. It has good power and bounces the front tires when it's idling. The injector pump and injectors were gone through not long ago. The power steering works with and correctly. The clutch was just ... morecompletely redone and works perfect. The transmission goes into all of the gears as it should and doesn't make any excessive noise. All in all the tractor is mechanically excellent and low houred. Nothing is worn or shot on the tractor. It has a brand new set of Bf Goodrich tires all the way around. The fronts are 7.50/18s and the rears are 18.4 30s. The rear rims are also brand new and were replaced when the new tires were installed. There is over 2 grand spent on just rims and tires. All of the tin work is good and straight and would clean up easily. And look like new. It is rare to find a tractor in this good of shape. Both cosmetically and mechanically. All of the mechanical work is done. All it needs is a coat of paint and it will be perfect! 1953 John Deere 70 Tractor serial number 7001179. Up for auction I have a 1955 john deere 70 diesel standard. Serial number: 7033257. The tractor runs excellent. The pony motor hasn't ran in a few years so we just pull started it. It starts up within the first 10 feet. The motor has great power and doesnt use oil or have blue or white smoke. Up for auction I have a john deere unstyled g serial number 6728 which makes it a 1938. The tractor usually starts on the 2nd turn but sometimes it will flood out and I just end up pull starting it. The main reason to this is that I don't know the proper techniques to hand starting a tractor. The tractor runs our good tho and had good power. The clutch works as it should and it shifts into all of the gears. The brakes work good aswell. This tractor is a low houred North Dakota tractor so it is in very excellent shape. Up for auction I have a john deere 70 all fuel. The tractor starts by the push of the button and runs great. The tractor is a very strong running machine. It has lots of lugging Power. The transmission shifts into all of the gears and the clutch operates smooth. The tractor steers easy and brakes nice. This was a Colorado tractor and was very well cared for and maintained. The tin work is in good straight condition and would clean up very easily. All four tired hold air and the rims are all in good condition. The coolant system is full of good clean antifreeze and has no leaks. It has the correct and original all fuel head and manifold. This tractor is runing in the photos, it is a diesel with a pony starting engine, the pony motor does run and it will fire the big motor right up, big motor fires instantly, the tractor has good working factory power steering, the clutch, brakes PTO, transmission and hydraulics all work good, the front rims are John Deere 1276R has one new front tire, the rear rims are good, rear tires are 18.4/30 at 70% older tires but in good condition, has a cylinder hanger and a PTO shield, orignal generator, the hour meter is original and reads 3225.6 dont know how accurate that is but is a nice tractor, has a set of rear wheel weights, the sheetmetal is nice and solid there are a few dings but solid, leave as is or easy restore, I took a photo of the inside of one of the fenders to show you they are solid ... moreon the inside, one of the rear fenders is perfect they are both good on inside but as you can see in photo one has some rust by the bracket on the outer skin of fender. Up for auction I have a john deere 730 That was made in Mexico serial number 7307070. The tag is stamped that it was made in Mexico as shown in the picture. Less then 90 of these we're produced In Monterey Mexico making them very sought after. I bought this tractor off of a friend of mine with intentions of restoring it. I have since decided to get rid of it and free up some room. The tractor turns over and seams to have good compression. It ran about 10 years ago. But hasn't ran since. I noticed that the clutch is going to need to be rebuilt. Along with several other odds and ends. The tires are 100% shot. They will all need to be replaced. Up for auction I have a 1935 John deere D. This came out of a collection that I bought out. The tractor ran two years ago. I can't get it to have any spark so that's about as far as I've gotten with it. The mag looks good. Carb looks good, and the fuel tank looks to be good too. The tractor turns over and has good compression. I don't think it would take much to get it going once you get spark. I was going to get it up and running but I just don't have the time to put towards it. It shifts into all of the gears. Everything moves like it should. Clutch snaps in and out like it should. It seams to be a pretty tight old tractor. The fenders are rough on the bottom foot or so like usual. These can be bought new for very reasonable. It has the original steel all around in great shape. No cracks or welds from what I could see ... moreanywhere. It even has the rare extensions on the back wheels! Wow! It is missing a couple lugs I noticed. They can be obtained fairly easy. If your looking for a good solid old D this rigs for you. It's selling as is where is with no reserve. This came out of a collection of 30 wheetland tread tractors. Up for auction I have a 1958 John Deere crawler 440C. Serial number 441351. It starts up by the push off a button. It runs very smooth. The transmission goes into all gears and the clutch works just like it should! The steering works in both directions. Both levers also may need some adjusting. The loader hydraulics operate fast and smooth. I recently lifted up a 3.000 lbs tractor rear-end with it and it handled it fine. Has 4 weights on rear end of it. Undercarriage is in good shape. About 60% of it remains and the radiator is full of anti-freeze. The bottom of the front cast iron nose is broken off at that bottom. But that could easily be replaced with a new piece of steel and look fine. It does not effect the operation of the tractor.If you have any questions you can call me at 815 901 2231.
