Custom Built John Deere 318,330,332,420,430 Articulating Project,4x4
This is a custom built 4x4 articulating tractor project i started about a year ago. And havent gotten around to finishing because i have to many projects. This is built mostly out of john deere 318,330,332,420,430 etc. parts. The two hydro transaxle are from 318's. The hood, dash, modified fender pan, side panels, running 18hp onan are also from a 318 that was in a barn that burnt. Body panels& hood still useable just needs sanded down and repaint. Plastic Dash has some melting on left side. The frame is all custom built steel channel annd flatbar with articulating steering and osiculation for uneven terrian. This is shown in pics. The steering cylinders are off a 318. Again this needs completed you are bidding on a unfinished project. It does still need more parts, time and engineering done for the completion of it. The hyrdo's ... moreare designed to be shaft driven off the front and rear of the engine. The steering is to be hydraulic using a 318 steering valve this would still need be purchased and mounted. The two hydro controls are to be connected together via a control cable and controled by 1 lever. All this still needs be designed and built. Again it is a unfinished project but a good start. The picture of the tractor with the orange wheels and tires is for mach up only. THESE ORANGE WHEELS& TIRES ARE NOT INCLUDED! the rear fender pan in this pic has been cut and modified and still needs mounted it is just sitting there in mach up pic to give an idea of what this tractor can look like. Again this is a project. For parts, not working, needs completed. This tractor does not included any wheels or tires. It will be taken in half and each half will be sit on a skid for loading. additional parts included: engine wiring harness, 318 side panels, modified seat pan, misc parts, 318 gas tank, 318 rear hitch This item is for local pickup only I can load onto your truck. John Deere Tractor 430 Tricycle Front for Parts or Rebuild
As far as I can tell this is a 430 John Deere tractor. I'm not sure because the serial number tag is missing. I am sell for parts. For the most part it is complete. Part of seat is missing along with a few other minor parts. Engine is stuck. Transmission and clutch seems to be ok. Both brakes work. One back tire seems to be ok(11.2- 34) but the other one will need a heavy boot or may not be repairable at all. See picture. Back tires hold air along with one of the front ones. Up for auction we have a 1959 john deere 730 diesel standard pony start. Serial number 7314333. The tractor runs great. I haven't had the pony motor running. It last ran about 3 and a half years ago. So it's going to need a carb cleaning I'm sure and possibly a set of points. The big motor is a sound string runner tho and has great power. It always starts right up within the first 10 feet of pulling it. The transmission shifts as it should and the clutch snaps good and tight. The tractor has hydraulics and power steering. The radiator is full of good clean antifreeze and doesn't have any leaks. The tractor used to have a cab on it and we removed it. So there is a couple extra holes on the fenders here and there but they are just small 1/8in ones that could easily be repaired. The back fenders are in pretty good condition. ... moreThe right rear fender has some rusting towards the back of it. This could easily be repaired. The hood and the nose cone are fairly straight for the most part. The nose cone is painted with primer gray. All of the tin work would clean up nicely if you are planning on restoring it. 1960 John Deere 430 W serial number 158738. 1958 John Deere 320 Standard Slant Steer. SN 325041, very rare model, only built for one year and fewer 320 Slant Steers built than 330s. Runs excellent, starts right up, doesn't smoke, good oil pressure. New muffler, seat back, steeering wheel. New headlights, all the lights work including the red tail light and dash light. Still has the original 6v system. 3 point works good, lift links turn and not frozen, also has drawbar. No breaks or welds on engine, clutch housing, tranmission or final drives. Wide front is nice, nothing broke or welded. Clutch works good, shifts nice, quiet transmission, both brakes work as should. Pto works. Been sitting in my shop and no puddles/leaks underneath tractor. Sheetmetal is straight and very useable, not all smashed up and pounded back out like most of them, nice fenders. Up for auction I have a 1958 john deere 730 propane. The tractor starts up by the push of the button and runs great. I have been using it around the farm the last couple weeks and it runs great and has lots of power. It will idle down to the point where you can almost count the fan blade revolutions. The transmission shifts into all of the gears and the clutch operates like it should. The charging system charges and the wiring is in pretty decent shape. The brakes stop on a dime. It has a factory three point hitch in pretty good condition. The powers steering works. The tin work is good and straight. It wouldn't take much work to make it perfect. Up for auction I have a 1959 john deere 430W serial number 155828. The tractor starts by the push of the button and runs out good. It had been sitting for a couple years. I changed the points and it fired right up and has great oil pressure. It could maybe use a carb kit but the more I run it the better it's gotten. It has good power and doesn't smoke. The coolant system is full of antifreeze and doesn't leak. It has factory powersteering which is a very rare option on these! Very few came with the factory power steering system. It also has a float ride seat on it. Floatride seats alone bring $500.00 for a 430. It also has a set of hydraulic remotes and live pto. Aswell as a 5 speed transmission. Up for auction I have a john deere 730 That was made in Mexico serial number 7307070. The tag is stamped that it was made in Mexico as shown in the picture. Less then 90 of these we're produced In Monterey Mexico making them very sought after. I bought this tractor off of a friend of mine with intentions of restoring it. I have since decided to get rid of it and free up some room. The tractor turns over and seams to have good compression. It ran about 10 years ago. But hasn't ran since. I noticed that the clutch is going to need to be rebuilt. Along with several other odds and ends. The tires are 100% shot. They will all need to be replaced. Up for auction I have a 1859 John deere 830432. I believe this tractor to be an industrial tractor. I bought this out of a collection and the previous owner claimed it had been restored as an ag tractor but was an industrial. The underneath of the hold and several other areas are bleeding yellow paint through. Even under where the emblem Used to be is original industrial yellow. The previous owner included and original industrial front axle with the tractor that he said came off the tractor. I will be listing the front axle in a separate auction. He had a foot throttle assembly for it aswell but I am going to keep that for my other tractors. It has the heavy duty square industrial axle housing still on the tractor as shown in the pictures. Up for auction I have a 1959 John deere 430 Lp 143058. This is a rare Dubuque. 1 of only 88 produced making this a very hard tractor to find. The tractor starts up and runs perfect. I just rebuilt the motor in it and it has just shy of an hour of run time on it since. It idles down to almost a dead stop. The radiator is full of good clean coolant. The transmission shifts into all of the gears as it should. The transmission has the unusual noise that these Dubuque have in the higher range gears. The clutch operates good and smooth. The steering is good and tight and doesn't have slop in it like they usually do. The pto operates like it should. It has a full three point hitch including the top link. The tractor is compete except for it is missing the generator. The tin work is all in fairly good condition. It has a couple small dents and ... moredings but it would straighten out with ease. The rear fenders aren't rusted out and only have a couple small dents. The rims are all in good shape and the rear tires have good tread and hold air. They are mix matched tread tho. The frontend has no breaks or welds that I could see. All in all this is a very unique and excellent tractor. It would go great in a collection or you could use it around the farm too.
