For sale is a 1961 John Deere 4010 propane tractor. It has a JD 6 cylinder engine. Doesn't smoke or have blowby. There is 1 hyd outlet(2 hoses) 540/1000 pto, 3 point hitch, JD original wide front end, Synchro range transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse speeds, new valves in the propane tank. It has 15.5x38 rear tires and tri rib front tires. The trans does shift hard between ranges mainly between 1st range and 2nd range. And the shifter in the dash is sloppy, but does go in and moves in all gears. Tractor is in fair shape. Starts and runs good. Good clutch and brakes, shifts hard. Sheet metal is in decent shape. This tractor has a diesel engine it is running in the photos and runs good, it has brand new 18.4/34 rear Firestone Tires, rims are good and solid, I am leaving the axle mount hubs for duals on it, has a PTO shield, good working PTO, Live PTO and Dual Hydraulics, it is a synchro shift and shifts good, has the light brackets but no lights, the power steering, brakes, clutch, PTO, Hydraulics and transmsiion all work good, the sheetmetal is good and solid, thee is a few ding sbutno rust and would retore easily, also has the front starter weights and two slabs, good original wide front, has a rockshaft with part of the the three point it is missing lower arms, being a standard tractor this is a rare and unusual option as not all of them had three points, temperature guage works oil pressure ... moreguage does not work, orginal tach reads 1804 hours and works and coudnt up hours, I am not sure how accurate it is but it is a nice tractor that starts, runs and drives good. 1962 John Deere 4010 Diesel Standard Tractor serial number 22T 36335. This tractor runs good it is running in the photos, it came out of a collection and was shedded for the last five years and not run much but it fires right up and runs good, the sheetmetal is very good you will find a few dings but is solid and will not take much to make it a show tractor, the rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 18.4/34 at 99% tread and like new, the power steering works good, it has a three point hitch on the rear with factory dual hydraulics, the PTO works good, clutch and brakes are very good but the right brake pushes down hard, Hydraulics and three pint work good, the transmission is a synchro and it shifts good ad isnt all sloppy like most, the tach works and reads 1808 hours but I cant say if that is correct as I didnt buy the tractor new, ... morethe fenders are good and solid no rust at all, it hasboth engine covers adn both rockshaft covers, has a cylinder hanger, PTO shield and a air stack, original wide front, original light brackets no lights, the guages on tractor do not work, the fuel shutoff is froze I just do it by hand, this is a veyr nice tractor it can be put to work as is or restore it to a show tractor hard to find with the three point hitch, runs and drives good sells NO RESERVE. The nose cone is junk and the hood has some dents. It has the correct mi fenders and they are in good shape. All of the tires hold air and don't leak down. It has a set of front wheel wieghts which are hard to find. The tag says mi on it so it is the real deal and not a plain m that had been painted yellow.
