John Deere M T antique farm tractor vintage old with John Deere 40 grill
This old tractor was recently removed from an old barn. It is an MT however. It appears that for years it has had a JD 40 front grill. The only thing I have done wash it off, put a new seat on it, put gas in it and pull it. Tractor does not have a generator. I did not get one. It did start when I pulled it but did not run very well. I am sure it needs TLC who knows what else. Fenders are not on it although I do have and they go with it. I know it has one good rear tire and one very weather checked. All the tires aired up fine. I will sell here on ebay if there is a bid. I can get delivered for $1 per loaded mile. I expect payment in 7 days and pick up in 30. It is located at 240 Trezevant Hwy Bradford. john deere 820 or 920 tractor diesel 30-40 hp cheap!
Well folks. Older deere tractor fore sale today. Recent trade on a new tractor. Older machine, little rough around the edges but I'll tell ya what I know. I can't find a model plate anywhere other than on the engine and it is hard to read. By my research my best guess is that this is either an 820 or 920 model deere, which would put it in the late 60's or early 70's. If its an 820 its around 30hp, if a 920 should be around 40 hp. Has a good running 3 cylinder diesel, starts with no starting fluid, just a quick turn of the switch and starts immediately. Runs good and drives good. Has a standard transmission, clutch seems to be toward end of adjustment by feel but does not slip. One front tire leaks air. Also, can't confirm but thought I saw a coolant leak, may have just been water dripping on ground, didn't see it after? ... moreAnyhow, starts right up, drives fine, pto works and shuts off fine, 3 point hitch arms go up and down. Even has a remote. Rear tires in fair to good shape. Tine work is a bit rough and one fender is flopping around. Would make somebody a cheap haying tractor, wagon puller, etc. First $2600 buys it! Inspections welcome, please do not buy if you don't plan on following through. I've told all I know about the tractor, come see it if you have any further questions or doubts. 1954 John Deere 70 All Fuel 80 60 50 40 720 730 830
Up for sale I have a 70 all fuel row crop. It has an original square tube wide front in good tight shape with no breaks or welds. And an 801 3point on the back. The tractor starts up from the push of the button. It's starts easy and runs great. It is a very strong running tractor. The clutch and brakes work great on it aswell. It shifts into all of the gears with ease. The steering is tight and easy going. All in all it is mechanically good. The only thing i noticed is that it needs manifold gaskets pretty bad. The bolts don't look like they're all rusted up so it shouldn't be too hard. It has the original all fuel manifold on it that is in great shape. There's no cracks or breaks on it. This is very hard to find an all fuel manifold with no cracks. The coolant system is full of good antifreeze and has no leaks. All four ... moretires hold air and have average tread. It has a set of original front rims in good not bent condition. The tin work is good and straight with just a couple little dings and would clean up nice. John Deere 40 series hi crop housings and front end
Up for auction is a set of hi crop rear housing and front end off of a John Deere 4440 hi crop tractor. These housings and front end should work on JD4040.JD4240, and JD4440. Everything is in working order and is sold as is condition. I changed 2 JD 4230 row crops to hi crops with the 30 series housings and front ends. Worked really well. 1954 John Deere 70 Tractor serial number 7011022. 1953 John Deere 50 serial number 5006563. This tractor has been sitting and not run for some time, it is running in the photos, the engine runs good and has good oil pressure but from sitting it has some dirt in carb, as it will spit and sputter and on occasion die, it always fires right back up, it really needs the carb. to be taken off and cleaned and it will be fine to use or restore for your collection, the sheetmetal is solid with a few dings but very solid and would restore easily, it is 12 volt, has a rol-a-matic front with John Deere front rims, has a nice rear step, the PTO and Hydraulics both work good, the rims are good and solid, has mower brackets on the rear hitch I was told it was used most of its life with a JD#5 sickle mower, it has a good 6 speed transmission, the clutch is good, brakes work, the intake manifold is new, ... morehas original generator still on it, the rear tires are 13.6/38 at 30% they are older tires with a few cracks. Up for auction I have a 1959 john deere 430W serial number 155828. The tractor starts by the push of the button and runs out good. It had been sitting for a couple years. I changed the points and it fired right up and has great oil pressure. It could maybe use a carb kit but the more I run it the better it's gotten. It has good power and doesn't smoke. The coolant system is full of antifreeze and doesn't leak. It has factory powersteering which is a very rare option on these! Very few came with the factory power steering system. It also has a float ride seat on it. Floatride seats alone bring $500.00 for a 430. It also has a set of hydraulic remotes and live pto. Aswell as a 5 speed transmission. So as you can see the tractor is loaded with options. It isn't too often that these show up on the market loaded with options. The ... moreclutch and brakes work as they should. The transmission shifts into all of the gears as it should. It has a three point hitch and a set of fenders that are in good shape aswell. The tin work is in good shape. It wouldn't take much work to make it perfect if you were going to restore the tractor. The rear tires are matching tread and still have some decent tread depth to them. Here is a farmer owned 4620 tractor that is in good condition. The loader has no breaks or welds. Front end has no cracks or welds, it has a quick attach bucket, bale spear/ 3 point rear bale carrier included. A lot of rear weights, 3 point, heater works fine, newer seat, A/C will need charged this summer. I had it out today pushing snow. The last 7 years or so, it just has been used as an acreage tractor. It never has been on a large cattle or hog farm. Small farmer, moving round bales, pulling 2, 600 bushel wagons hauling grain to town. Tractor has a roll bar inside the cab. 20.8 x 38 rears, Tach. is good, 8,150 hours. Fuel gauge does not work. I am looking at buyer a investment property that is why I am selling. Up for auction I have a 1959 John deere 430 Lp 143058. This is a rare Dubuque. 1 of only 88 produced making this a very hard tractor to find. The tractor starts up and runs perfect. I just rebuilt the motor in it and it has just shy of an hour of run time on it since. It idles down to almost a dead stop. The radiator is full of good clean coolant. The transmission shifts into all of the gears as it should. The transmission has the unusual noise that these Dubuque have in the higher range gears. The clutch operates good and smooth. The steering is good and tight and doesn't have slop in it like they usually do. The pto operates like it should. It has a full three point hitch including the top link. The tractor is compete except for it is missing the generator. The tin work is all in fairly good condition. It has a couple small dents and ... moredings but it would straighten out with ease. The rear fenders aren't rusted out and only have a couple small dents. The rims are all in good shape and the rear tires have good tread and hold air. They are mix matched tread tho. The frontend has no breaks or welds that I could see. All in all this is a very unique and excellent tractor. It would go great in a collection or you could use it around the farm too.
