With the price of drive belts continuing to climb a properly functioning and maintained drive mule is more and more critical. With the OEM mule. We have determined through analysis that under normal operation, the primary shaft is actually pulled out of the bearing surface on the opposite side. This side thrust causes premature failure on some of the OEM mules. We have added side thrust bearing surfaces to prevent this from being an issue on our mule. As you can see in the photo we have also added two more grease zerks. We know we are driving the cost up but feel our mule should be as tough and long lasting as possible. Starting with a used mule: 1. The mule is suspended in an electrolysis bath for 24 hours to remove residue. Paint, and oxides. 2. The mule is then disassembled. All parts other than the mule frame assembly are scrapped. 3. The worn shafts and arms are cut from the mule frame and scrapped. 4. The mule frame is media blasted then machined to accept new shaft bearings. 5. If possible. The shock absorber wear surface is mig welded back to size while forming steel doughnut around the now round hole. If not, it is replaced with new 5/16" thick steel. 6. New primary shaft bearings are fixtured and welded in place. 7. Two grease zerk holes are drilled and threaded into the new primary shaft bearings. 8. The primary shaft bearings are then line bored to size. 9. A new primary shaft. New pulley arm, new tension arm, and side thrust bearing are fixtured then welded into the mule frame assembly. 10. A grease zerk hole is drilled and threaded into the new primary shaft. 11. New secondary shaft parts are assembled using a fixture then welded as an assembly. 12. The entire assembly is bathed in phosphoric acid to further clean the metal and provide a corrosion resistant coating of iron phosphate. 13. Blitz black UV resistant powder coating is app

Farmall Antique Tractor Battery Box And Cover 100 130 140 Super A M H
Farmall tractor battery box with the lid this lid is in very good original condition it has both holders one of the rubbers on the underside is missing. The battery box is nice and solid one of the holes where the battery cable goes through is a littel oblonged this can be fixed or left as it is but it is solid, has the hold down latches and both screw fasteners, selling complete and NO RESERVE. Shipping to be $15 in the lwoer 48 states.
