Antique c1900 Christofle(France) heavily silverplated locking box. Comes with a key and the lock works. The box measures 5 1/2" x 4" x 2 3/4" height. It is in good condition with only 1 tiny pin head size ding on the top that is insignificant and only mentioned for accuracy. The silver shows general light wear from use. There is some minor loss on the four corners of the base but none anywhere else. Stamped on the base 17 Christofle with a makers mark in use from 1862-1935. The box would be great for jewelry or any type of valuables and could even be used as a tea caddy or spice box. The inside is clean. Any yellowing in pics other than the base shots(9& 10) is only a reflection of the lights. Nice item from a quality maker. Starts low with no reserve.

This machine is in very good used condition- the cord that you see operates the light but we could not find the cord with the foot or knee pedal. Some of the minor issues: the wood top of the case is solid with just light wear- the gold decals are mostly in place on both sides with just a little wear- one of the wood stops is missing underneath on the inside of the top of the case- on the wood base. Some minor pealing of the veneer on two of the corners with a few tiny pieces missing- the bottom of the base is covered with a thin piece of solid wood and this is slightly wavy and has a few splits- as mentioned, there is no foot pedal- the machine is somewhat dusty and dirty with normal age wear and needs a good cleaning and polishing-

It was sold me in working condition& was used in a quilting club up until the time the store acquired it. The cords and belt seem to be in good condition. I did plug it in and lamp does light up& motor hums. I DO NOT know how to use a sewing machine! St know io don't know how to fully test it. I was told that it was from the 1920's but honestly don't know how old it is. Very unique and neat piece.
