Miter Master - Master Specialty Company Angle Dowel/ Drill Marking Gage Tool
This is a well used but still very nice Miter Master from the Master Specialty co. of Minneapolis. Minnesota. In very small letters under the oblong opening toward the top it says"Dowel and Drill Diameter Gage" Off to the side there is a series of holes that says"Marking Gage Insert" There is a little wing nut on the front on the bottom panel that when loosened the top angels back and forth. I have looked all over this item but I don't find a date anywhere. However it does say"Patent Pending" so I would think that it makes this a very early make of this particular product. This gage is in need of a cleaning so you can read all the wording and measurement details more easily but I didn't want to clean away the details that may come with it. This gage is attached to a thin wood base which makes it free ... morestanding. The gage is 8" tall and at the wides paint just 7" wide. This gage is black on top and the bottom is a dark olive gree. This probably came out of my grandpas tool crib. Because he was a Mr. Fixit and had just about every tool there is. The Gage you see in the photos is the gage you will recieve. Antique No 75 Millers Falls Langdon Acme Miter Box With Disston Saw
This is a very old piece. The tag says 21/2" and model 75. the last patent date is 1909 on the tag, it appears to be complete and unbroken, the feet are fine and the saw is an original disston. It needs to be cleaned, it is a barn find. I am not an expert with these so feel free to ask questions, all of my items are sold as is. the saw blade is 16" long and the miter box is 19 1/2" long. Extremely rare cranberry opalescent Dot& Miter milk pitcher made by Fenton for LG Wright. Very hard to find. Rarely seen. A similar item can be found in John Walk's book, Fenton Rarities 1940-1985 with an undetermined value. Although I do not find any stains on the inside of the jug. There is some light staining around the lower 1/3 of the outside. If you look closely at the photo of the base, you will see some staining there as well. It's really odd why it is on the outside but that is how it was found. There are two cracks in the handle- one is straight across and the other runs on a diaganol. No cracks in the pitcher itself. No chips. Measures 6.25" high. 5" wide body, 3.5" wide across the crimp, 2.5" wide base. This pitcher has been in my collection for a few years now. I have never seen this unit in its original box before. I'm sure the original box is worth more than the actual unit. Condition of Miter Box: This Miter Box is Dusty and has been used. However is in excellent physical condition, and will clean up very nicely. The original wood board shows how much use there has been(used, but not heavy use) Has always been put back in original box, so has not been abused at all.
