$10 BIN gets you the Tek IC 165-2393-00 which is very similar to 155-0237-00 U600 vertical out IC used in 24_ scopes. These are used. But still good. Tek made these as 1 product off 1 fab line and labeled them with 1 of 2 part numbers after testing each for bandwidth as either: part# 155-0237-00 if they passed on the right half of the(Gaussian) bell curve, or as part# 165-2393-00 if they passed on the left side. Roughly speaking, 165-2393-00 will limit a 400MHz scope's bandwidth to about 360MHz, whereas a 155-0237-00 will let it work to around 450MHz. This means there is no reason to have the better one in a 2445, 2445A, or 2445B, but there is good reason to use them in 2465B and 2467B. 2465 and 2465A leave you a choice of little consequence. Tektronix TM506 Test Station
This is a fully populated Tektronix TM506 test station that I rescued out of the"e-waste" pile only because it was taken out of the calibration cycle at my company. The photo shows all the modules included- power supply. Function generator, dual pulse generator and two timer/counter modules. I have tested all these modules and they seem to operate without any problems. The leftmost timer/counter trigger knob is slight bent but works. The plastic part of a knob on the dual pulse module seems to have come off but the knob itself still works(high level" adjust- checked it out) The signal displayed is from the function generator. I am not totally familiar with all of the functions of these modules but this unit is a good all-in-one essential for the electronics hobbyist or technician workbench.
