Logan lathe model 200, 210 counter shaft assembly with belt guard
This is the counter shaft assembly for the logan model 200. 210 and I am sure many others. This comes with the belt guard as well. The cast pulley cradle has been replaced by a very nice solid steel unit made by a machinist and it has roller bearings. This is much better than the original style cradle which usually is broken and brazed back together and that is why this one has been upgraded. The counter shaft motor pulley is not original and is 7" in diameter. This is complete with motor mount too. I dealt in antiques specializing in lamps for years and this is the only lamp of this type that I ever came across. No makers name that I could see. But very nice style and execution The base is fancy cast iron. Column is brass, and the shade, which is on a swivel fitting, is painted metal. This is the only area where there is any deterioration on the lamp. As some of the paint has flaked off in the center. There is a very nice mercury glass reflector inside the metal shade that is in great condition. Perfect for a table lamp. Reading lamp, or just an accent piece. Lamp is about 24 inches tall overall
