MUST PICK UP HERE. TOO FRAGILE TO SHIP. Please scroll down the page to see more pictures. It d oes work well. Sorts and counts pennies. Nickels, dimes, quarters and half dollars. The picture you see with the counter up shows no half dollars because we didn't have any in the coffee can partially full of change we dumped in. Last patent number is 1585380 which was issued in 1926. Tag at the front reads Meter No 1428 Type S.F. Standard Johnson Co Brooklyn NY Tag on the side reads Model F1 No 3051 Standard Johnson etc with some patent numbers. I'm no expert on these but it appears to be in original condition with some touch up to the black paint. I see nothing chipped,cracked or broken. The plug where it enters the wall outlet needs replaced as it is making a bad contact there and if you bend it it will not let the electric flow. The ... morerest of the wiring looks decent and the on/off switch works and motor and machine sound good. Locking braces for the stand are not positioned properly. You are supposed to be able to raise and lower it to roll it around on the wheels. Vibration pads between the machine and stand are probably original too. The pulls at the bottom of the machine to attach the bags need cleaned and shined up. 4 of the bank bags are old from the Maryland National Bank Baltimore Maryland No 9, the 5th bag is rather generic. Notice the holes in the tray where you first put your change-they leave any small debris fall through. This originally belonged to a church in Baltimore where it had been in storage for many years. RCA WF 14A GEIGER COUNTER VINTAGE RADIATION DETECTOR
RCA MODEL 14 VINTAGE GEIGER COUNTER IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. Made for RCA by ARC a manufacturer of several models of radiation equipment in the early to mid 1950s. This unit is VERY clean inside with no trace of battery leakage. The four primary models of RCA counters were essentially the same unit. The difference is in the detector. The models were designated WF 10A. 11A, 12A and 14A(there was also a model 16 with multiple tubes) The 10 and 11 had internal detector tubes and 12 and 14 had probes. The color of the tube cover was code for the type of tube used. Black cover or probe was an IB85 tube and red cover or probe was a 6306 Bismuth screen tube. This is a model 14 so it has a red probe and used a 6306 Bismuth GM tube not included in the sale. These tubes are available from Electronic Goldmine(the last time I looked)

Woth the probe shield opened, exposed to a Thorium 232 Check Source. The speaker clicked to register detections, the light flashed and the meter responded, as the first picture shows. The GM tube in the included probe is marker"Lionel 112 6703-1" we have not been able to find specs for that tube. But are guessing either Beta/ Gamma or Alpha/ Beta/ Gamma, based on responsiveness to the check source. The external scope and meter outputs were not tested and are not guaranteed and. Lightweight geiger counter for detection and measurement of gamma, x-ray, and high energy beta radiation. The HP-270 probe included in this sale is a side window energy compensated Geiger Mueller detector. This detector is capable of measuring beta, gamma, and X-ray radiations and the reading can be converted directly to exposure rate for X-ray and gamma radiation. When it hits ROCK BOTTOM. I rescue. Item Number: 017 VINTAGE STEEL INDUSTRIAL ROTARY PAPER HOLDER or COUNTER RECORD KEEPER and ORDER TAKER! A really jiffy little contraption. Made of magnetic metal, sturdy and heavy, weighs 3 pounds, I assume it is STEEL. Appears to have most if not all original hardware and parts are all original. Two handles crank to turn around two(2) 3-1/2" metal disks that sandwich a note paper roll in between them. You write the order on the note paper metal plate. When the transaction is done. You crank the handle towards you and the paper rolls your completed transaction onto the used roll storage. The information about that transaction is always in that roll and without any breaks in the roll every transaction is accounted for, no receipts to"get lost" or"misplaced" I think it is pretty ingenious! ... moreIf you have a question about an order that was taken a few hours ago. Or a day ago, or as long ago as that roll is dated as to when it started, all you have to do is REVERSE the crank rolls and keep on browsing as you keep rolling until you find the day you are looking for, then the exact transaction you are looking for. This was in the days before computers and it GOT THE JOB DONE. Everything was in black and white, no one could blame things on other people, No worries about computer crashes, bugs and viruses. Hey, maybe this old time stuff wasn't so bad. Gears and rollers. All appears to operate as it should, but hardware could use tightening.
