Included in this listing is a vintage Simpson Spring bottle and"Coffee Soda" bottle cap. The sign. Unfolded, measures a little over 12" tall. When attached to the bottle, see photos) the combined height is about 16" It appears, that, originally, the bottle top was secured to the back of the sign by glue; the residue remains, but the two are no longer attached. If you wish to reunite the two, the process appears to be a simple one of once again gluing the bottle top to the back of the sign. We will leave the decision of how to display the two up to the new owner, although, if we may, we think the combination of the sign on the bottle is definitely the way to go. Offered- A beautifully preserved Victorian era Pharmacy Pill Roller/ Counter- late 1800s. This is a really nice piece- Solid Mahogany with detailed Brass fittings. The Mahogany base measures 11 3/4 inches by 8 1/4 inches and is a bit over 1 inch thick- not including the 5/8 inch foot at one end- which tilts the piece- allowing the pills to roll down towards the removable mahogany tray at the end. There is a solid brass grooved"Pill Former attached to the base- and very substantial brass mountings on each edge- which act as runners for the top piece. The grooved brass piece consists of 24"Grooves" which are marked and numbered 6. 12, 18 and 24. Photo#9) The upper piece is again solid mahogany.
