Up for bid a Used 6 FT 3 point CounrtyLine Rotary Tiller in very good condition/still like new. I purchased this new in spring of 2013 to work up my lawn to replant grass in my yard. I have also done some garden work for other people in my area with this tiller. I estimate I tilled around 8 to 10 acres with this since I bought it new. I used this tiller behind my Case 530 tractor. At first I thought I may have bought to big of a tiller an maybe should of gotten a 5 ft. At first theTractor worked pretty hard the first time over. Ground was very dry at the time and in some spots I have the clay ground plus ground hasn't been worked up in years. I found the more I ran the tiller on my tractor the better it ran weach time I used. My tractor hasn't done any hard work in 20 YRS. Most light work like pulling wagons and cut weeds over the ... moreyears. The more time I ran the tiller the better the tractor ran afterwords. I figured the tractor was carboned up over the years but not that bad. Boy what a difference it made putting it to work! I've heard storys that some tillers don't dig deep enough but after few adjustments and getting use to the tiller. The first time over I was digging up around 3 to 4 inches deep. I made a few more adjustments in the angle of the tiller the more deeper I could go. The secound time over made a real big difference I was digging about 4 to 6" deep and ground was much finer in texture. I my area we have clay ground and some mellow ground too. but we have clay here an at times its hard to work up but it done a nice job of breaking it down! I was satisfied with the tiller more ways than one! In helping my tractor out and doing a good job for me! There is some stone chips in upper sheet metal where a few small stone that gone thru it nothing major! Hard to prevent stones. If you have a real stoney or rocky areas best not to use any tiller.
