Thermal Arc DC TIG Starter. This is not a welder. You must have a stick welder(we use a POWCON 300) to have a complete TIG system. This unit will not control the amperage of your welder(we used a foot pedal interfaced to our POWCON) This is a very heavy duty unit. It will control the gas flow for pre- and post- welding flow. Gas flow can be started automatically before the unit starts the high voltage spark to begin the welding process and also can flow gas after welding has ended. We did not use the auto gas feature.
