I decided to get a longer cable as well. Now I'd like to find a home for this one. Its pretty heavy-duty and defiantly well made. Its held up well. The very outside of it has a few burns and blemishes. But the protective coating has been brought back with electrical tape. Takes standard fittings. This Lincoln Precision TIG 185 welding power source has seen light use primarily as a secondary backup unit. I recently applied power to it and everything is working perfectly! I will include the foot switch and the torch. This unit can be used for stick or TIG welding. It has AC and pulsing so it will weld Aluminum as well as steel. The welder requires 460 Volts single phase 60Hz at 32 Amps Max. If you intend to operate this in a home shop. You will need a single phase step up transformer rated for 10 to15 KVA! I did a little looking on ebay, and this transformer can be found for $200. If you do buy a transformer from ebay, be sure to set a search distance from your zip code that will keep shipping costs down! Its in good condition and the school hasn't used it since 2011 since they got money for new equipment. It comes with the grounding lead and a lead to connect the wire feeder. The wire feeder does not use the 14 pin amphenol connector but has a voltage sensing clamp that connects to the work piece for its power source. It doesn't come with anything else. There is one large pair of Black Stallion that look well used but still in usable condition. The rest are all used in various condition but all seem usable to me. Sewn with Kevlar thread.
